Congratulations to Federer but the jacket was disgusting, especially because we had just witnessed Roddick play an incredible match that he should not have come close to winning. I'm not disgusted because it was close, that just intensifies the distastefulness.

I really like Roger, but he does have a tendency to rattle off his records in a way that makes you think "alright already."

no one would be saying anything had federer won in straight sets

and federer did not point out his monogrammed "15" - sue baker of the bbc is the one who pointed it out

leave it to americans to think roddick's loss is more important the federer winning HIS RECORD FIFTEENTH GS!

When American athletes go into gloating gyrations on the football field, throw their sponsors gear on after winning a game , or say they're gonna head off to Disney World after winning a championship, it's ok.......It was the BBC broadcaster who pointed out the relatively small monogrammed 15 on his tennis jacket, not Federer. The "15" will be commemorated on his brand of tennis wear anyway...

Congratulations to Roger Federer on achieiving his 15th Grand Slam win. A job well done!

Clearly a case of sour grapes. Classless!...Because he beat n American? After 4 hours on the court what do U expect? Some of you would be singing different tunes if Fed was (U wish) an American.

When you win your 15th major, then you can do something classy.,..

Yeah, it was pretty classless. Especially with Roddick standing nearby, and who was visibly and understandably disappointed and upset after losing such an epic, classic battle. 16-14 in the fifth set--wow! Federer didn't mention the "15" on his jacket, tho, to his credit--the BBC reporter did.
