I would LOVE to do this and be healthier, but I get so weak and tired (and HUNGRY) every time I try. How do people do it?

no no no no people its talking about calories, you can still eat plenty of food without having excess calories, calories does not = food, its good to remember this. the paraphrasing necessary to make it a short text on the front page certainly doesnt help for this clarification however

I think it's compulsive behavior and most people who appear anorexic are somewhat repulsive to view!
Suddenly it's OK to starve oneself? I'd rather enjoy living and eating good food and fade away when my time is up. I still enjoy life ar 82! No starvation existence for me, thank you!

The most comic aspect is that people who ridiculed fashion models for not eating enough, calling them unhealthy, were completely wrong.

Twiggy, Veruschka, Boyd are all in their 70s and healthy while NFL linemen from that same period are, sadly often, dead.

I think going through life with your stomach growling is a pretty high price to pay for the extra 15-20 years you'll probably get. It's sad to say, but, if the cheesy fries don't take you out, stress probably will. I'm really trying to enjoy the ride, but, some days it just seems to boil down to life is a bitch and then you die - regardless of what size you are.

What kind of life? A life spent feeling better and more energetic, a life less wasteful, a life more beneficial for the planet.... An unbloated life. Spread out smaller meals over the course of each day, and you can still enjoy tasty, rich fare. The law of diminishing returns and pleasure applies to eating. A little is more than enough.

Moderation in everything! My diet is "Eat what I want, when I want", and I've never had to lose or gain weight. Enjoy life, Carpe Diem !
