Oops, forgot to mention that high in the air (suspended over the center ring in the metal cage) is a strange creature named Zell Miller who thinks making racially infused comments in the 21st Century, especially those against our nation's President's recent ovrseas trips to meet with foreign dignitaries, somehow compares to the taxpayer monies-wasting junkets by C Street hypocritical sex scroundrel Gov. Sanford with his nearly $500,000 worth of travel expenses compliments of the residents of South Carolina!

The GOP's attempts to create hype over this week's confirmation hearings regarding Supreme Court justice nominee Sonia Sotomayor blew up in their face as the GOP's 3 Ring Circus also came to town.

Here comes the Govenorship quitting Ring Mistress Sarah Barracuda from Alaska leading the audience into the circus to watch:

In the Center Ring we have the Hypocri-C-Street Juggling Trio featuring sex scandalous clowns Sen. Ensign, Gov. Sanford, and Fmr Rep. Pickering displaying their skills at bribery & decit, hide-n-seeky poo, and lobbying for your mistress's company...

In the ring to the left, we are treated to the incessant Eco Stimulus Whining Hyenas named Senators Kyl , McCain , and Gov. Perry who simply cannot make up ther minds on whether to improve the quality of life in their home states, or betray their constituents (yet again) by denying them necessary monies for education, health care services, and infrastrucure improvements...

in the ring to the right, we have the Aging Elephant named Pat Buchanan trying to infuse race in this week's confirmation hearings, by highlighting a civil case regarding white firefighters, and trying to compare it to the years of enslavement of African-Americans and the subsequent legacy of racism and segregation which have been lessened by affirmative action, civil rights advancements, and the ever-growing tolerance of diversity in America. The hard fought struggle of Women's Suffrage, the scars of Japanese-American internment camps, and the ongoing discrimination against gay Americans clearly overshadow the unfortunate examples of reverse discrimination against causasian Amercians, and show that our nation still has a long way to go before we can see ourselves as a nation of Americans, one people...

    God Bless America

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor ? Honest Americans can't wait. :

A real Democratic Leadership stands to to Govern to Serve the peoples, and answerable to the peoples through Transparent Institutions for Peoples Development, And in fact, ???development??? is a second name of ???Peace??? . So, ??? Peace-For Development??? or ???Development-For-Peace??? are directly proportional and inter-connected in the real sense of significance. What a ???brilliant commen??? deep-heartedly phrased during a speech of a Honest Leader Barack Obama in Ghana, of course, faithfully appropriate that ???Development depends upon Good-Governance???. However, Good-Governance reliant to reliable development & implementation of of Rule-of-Law. Even, we can define ???Terrorism??? as any Act beyond the Rule-of-Law, consequently ???A Person who takes the law in his hand is ???Terrorist???. Hence, ???National??? legislative bodies/institutions & law enforcement agencies becomes responsible for development & implementation of National - Rule of Law, while ???International??? legislative bodies/institutions & international law enforcement agencies becomes responsible for development & implementation of International ational - Rule of Law. So, that ???Justice??? is the another name of ???Good-Gevernance??? . No doubt, A nation following best judicial system can never be defeated. Since President Obama nominated Judge Sotomayor's brilliance and unique legal qualifications have already praised her tough-mindedness and experience as a prosecutor and trial judge, stood one of the strong Law enforcement official and she also earned the highest possible rating from the American Bar Association. There's no doubt -- the President picked the right person for the job.

Playing Party Politics, opposition just for opposition on ???community-based??? imperialistic biased-approach, and ignorance of national-interest with the such a transparent nominee will be count ever untrustworthiness & dishonesty with the Constitution of America. It???s the conscientiousness, liability & even accountability of decision makers??? own decision in this regard, in the Senate that the Supreme Court needs a strong defender of justice like Sonia Sotomayor.

So please join here with my sincere comment for ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA, and pride to be honored becoming a part of this historic moment for the Court and America to set a remarkable Example as Global-Leader.

Still Free in the USA- I believe you???ve misunderstood my point. I am very proud to be an American! And I am most proud to be an American because of the great diversity that this country has! I was simply informing the poster of the comment to which I commented that he/she should do a little research on the organizations which he/she discusses BEFORE making strong (false) statements about it.

While we're talking about the court's constitutional role, we should consider where these Senate hearings fit into our constitutional design. Specifically, why aren't these hearings in front of a House Committee - the body of The People? The Framers originally created the U.S. Senate to represent the sovereign, democratically elected state governments and their interests. The Framers knew that if the Senate was constituted in this fashion, that body would confirm only those jurists who upheld the original intent of the constitution: limited, temperate government, and justice (not "fairness") under the law for each citizen.

The 17th Amendment changed this. Now that a U.S. Senator has exactly the same constituency as a Representative to the U.S. House ("The People"), the judicial confirmation process we are witnessing today in the Senate is part of the mob rule that the Framers had every intention of preventing through constitutional structure. This circus is exactly the government we get now that the rules have changed.

Repeal the 17th Amendment and restore the original design of the Framers.

GENOCIDE: Obama???s health care proposal is, in effect, the repeal of the Medicare program as we know it. The elderly will go from being the group with the most access to free medical care to the one with the least access. Indeed, the principal impact of the Obama health care program will be to reduce sharply the medical services the elderly can use. No longer will their every medical need be met, their every medication prescribed, their every need to improve their quality of life answered.
It is so ironic that the elderly - who were so vigilant when Bush proposed to change Social Security - are so relaxed about the Obama health care proposals. Bush???s Social Security plan, which did not cut their benefits at all, aroused the strongest opposition among the elderly. But Obama???s plan, which will totally gut Medicare and replace it with government-managed care and rationing, has elicited little more than a yawn from most senior citizens.
It???s time for the elderly to wake up before it is too late!
The consequences the elderly of Canada are feeling from just this kind of program. Limited colonoscopies have led to a 25% higher rate of colon cancer and a ban on the use of the two best chemotherapies are part of the reason why 42% of Canadians with colon cancer die while 31% of Americans, who have access to these two medications, survive the disease.
Overall, the death rate from cancer in Canada is 16% higher than in the United States and the heart disease mortality rate is 6% above ours???.
Under Obama???s program, there will be a government health insurance company that gets huge subsidies of tax money. It will compete with private insurance plans. But the subsidies will let it undercut the private plans and drive them out of business, leaving only the government plan - a single payer - in effect.
Today, 800,000 doctors struggle to treat adequately the 250 million Americans who have insurance. Obama will add 50 million more to their caseload with no expansion in the number of doctors or nurses. Indeed, his plan will likely reduce their number by lowering reimbursement rates and imposing bureaucrats above them who will force medical decisions down their throats. Fewer doctors will have to treat more patients. The inevitable result will be rationing.
And it is the elderly who rationing will most effect. Who should get a knee replacement a 40 year old or a 70 year old? Who should get a new hip, a young person or an old person? Who should have priority in the operating room a seventy year old diabetic who needs bypass surgery or a younger person? Obviously, it is the elderly who will get short shrift under his proposal.
But the interest groups that usually speak up for the elderly, particularly AARP, are in Obama???s pocket, hoping to profit from his program by becoming one of its vendors. Just as they backed Bush???s prescription drug plan because they anticipating profiting from it, so they are now helping Obama gut the medical care of their consti

IS THIS THE TYPE OF "JUSTICE" WE SHOULD EXPECT?
Charges brought against three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense under the Bush administration have been dropped by the Obama Justice Department, FOX News has learned.
The charges stemmed from an incident at a Philadelphia polling place on Election Day 2008 when three members of the party were accused of trying to threaten voters and block poll and campaign workers by the threat of force -- one even brandishing what prosecutors call a deadly weapon.
The three black panthers, Minister King Samir Shabazz, Malik Zulu Shabazz and Jerry Jackson were charged in a civil complaint in the final days of the Bush administration with violating the voter rights act by using coercion, threats and intimidation. Shabazz allegedly held a nightstick or baton that prosecutors said he pointed at people and menacingly tapped it. Prosecutors also say he "supports racially motivated violence against non-blacks and Jews."
The Obama administration won the case last month, but moved to dismiss the charges on May 15
The complaint says the men hurled racial slurs at both blacks and whites.
A poll watcher who provided an affidavit to prosecutors in the case noted that Bartle Bull, who worked as a civil rights lawyer in the south in the 1960's and is a former campaign manager for Robert Kennedy, said it was the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen.
In his affidavit, obtained by FOX News, Bull wrote "I watched the two uniformed men confront voters and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters."
He also said they tried to "interfere with the work of other poll observers ... whom the uniformed men apparently believed did not share their preferences politically," noting that one of the panthers turned toward the white poll observers and said "you are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker."

BREAKING NEWS: New Haven, Connecticut. May 28, 2009

Four old white guys and an albino frog perished in an apartment fire late yesterday evening. It appears the fire broke out due to an unattended crack pipe. New Haven first responders; Ladder 6, reached the apartment building within 6 minutes of the 911 call. However, it was determined that the 5 firefighters of Ladder 6 unit did not meet the Affirmative Action quotas of the city of New Haven and that even though Ladder 6 did have two women in the unit; those first on the scene could not reach a ???best conclusion??? on how to deal with the blaze because they did not possess the wisdom or richness of experiences and had not lived life.

Al Sharpton immediately called for a more politically correct team to extinguish the blaze. Meanwhile, protester Fawn Rosenberg, acknowledged that the occupants were crack addicts and deserved the full benefit of drug treatment and intervention. Inpatient treatment had been denied the old white guys because their recent urine tests were flawed.

First, I think the article is on target. This is the kind of journalism we need in this country - to point out that Congress is wasting time and money on bullsh*t when they should be executing their duties of their elected office. This is another dog and pony show - typical of the ones that happen everyday in Washington. Remember the hearings of the CEOs of the auto industry? Basically, this is how that really went - "hey you guys, come to Washington so we can make you look like idiots to the people and then we will write you a check." Same situation with the confirmation hearings. I think Washington needs an enema!!

Sotomayor was (is?) on the council of La RASA. Wake up people; these are the Brown supremacists. Their motto is "Everything for the race." For those not of the race, nothing!" La RASA means "the race" in Spanish. Would she even be considered for such a position if this were a White supremacist group? No, but brown supremacists are Okay, aren't they. Thank you pres. Obama; you were supposed to bring dignity and unity between the races in this country, but you are choosing someone who is quite unfit for the job.

    • Posted By: MG7999 @ 07/13/2009 7:29:45 AM

For one, the organization you are referring to is called National Council of La Raza (NCLR). While you seem to think your expertise in the Spanish language is sufficient enough for you to claim what one's membership in NCLR might signify, you neglect to both: a) spell "raza" correctly (it is with a "z" not an "s," and, b) realize that its definition cannot be completely (and simply) defined as ???the race.??? Furthermore, the motto of NCLR is NOT ???Everything for the race??? at all. In fact, had you actually viewed anything related to the organization, you would find this bit of information from the NCLR website: ???Some people have mistranslated ???La Raza??? to mean ???The Race,??? implying that it is a term meant to exclude others. In fact, the full term coined by Vasconcelos, ???La Raza Cósmica,??? meaning the ???cosmic people,??? was developed to reflect not purity but the mixture inherent in the Hispanic people. This is an inclusive concept, meaning that Hispanics share with all other peoples of the world a common heritage and destiny.??? While all Americans are entitled to free speech, the power and legitimacy of one???s speech declines swiftly when one knows nothing about the subject which he or she is addressing.

Obama is proving once again what a pathetic President that he is pretending to be. Having "empathy" is more important than interpreting the law. Apparently, President Narcissism forgot about the role of the Supreme Court as he was teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago. But President Narcissism is a world citizen who is above being a provencial American as the idiot Evan Thomas put it. Maybe we can get rid of this clown in 2012 before he can do much more damage.

Looks like Democrats switched from supporting white racism to supporting Latina and black racism. New KKK?

  • Posted By: newshound12 @ 07/11/2009 10:41:33 PM

I don't think what she said was truly racist, I think it was insensitive. She obviously didn't mean any harm by it. However, it is completely true that if a white man had said "because of my experience as a white male I would hope I would make better decisions than a Latina woman", they would be taken out of consideration without a thought and would be chastised by the mainstream media to the point of humiliation.

  • Posted By: Larry11215 @ 07/11/2009 4:07:55 PM

the fact is that if a white man would have made an analagous comment to her "wise Latina" line, you would have him crucified. Racism is racism, reverse or otherwise, and it is not appropriate in a Supreme Court justice in the 21st century.
