Michael Jackson should definetly be buried in a mausoleum....this MJ. i dont know why they just dont turn Neverland into something like Graceland for Elvis. It would definetly help clear out his debt and certainly help the state of California with there debt problems attracting tourism since they even tried to get fans to pay for memorial...problem solved.Espically as soon as it would all be setup.fans from all over the world would flock there immediately...."money problems solved" RIP M.J.

Money problem solve. Guess you missed the the notice. SOME ONE BOUGHT NEVER LAND AFTER IT WAS FORECLOSED ON AND SOLD AT AUCTION. THE PLACE HE WAS LIVING WAS RENTED. Would you want the previous owner of your home to be buried on your property?

If the present owner allowed it. It would benifit him. By the way.. If you ever drove by the Ranch. It is located on one small county type road. Sorry, I would not want the traffic

Yes, I do believe that Michael Jackson's final resting place should be like Princess Diana's or Jimmy Hendrix. People from all over the world would like to pay their respect now and forever, and to bury him next to others is an injustice to the "others". It should be a beautiful but public and away from others buried in the same cemetery. Michael was a public figure, one that will be loved for ever and ever and as such, the family should pay tribute to him.

My GOD,,,, LET it REST people.... He's DEAD. Let him Rest in peace. I guess you are pretty stupid to not see that he did not molest that child. AmandaCowen. Did it ever accure to you that the child needs psych care because he was told he would get MILLIONS if he lied ???? People do discussting things when they think they can get millions. O.J Simpson did a gross murder.... No comparison AmandaCowen....or perhaps you do not see the difference here?

You've got to be kidding????? A photo of Michael Jackson should be posted where all the kids HE'S ABUSED can come and throw rocks at his ugly face. This man not a king by any means, and certainly not royalty. But the media and his own kind will help to keep his nasty and perverted memory alive.

FReynolds 293....Let it go man, let it go! MJ was found not guilty and I believe while he may not have been innocent by what society expects today what, if anything, MJ did was done innocently! I know that in today's society if you look at someone wrong then you can be charged with sexual assault but it doesn't make our craziness right.... MJ was truly a humanitarian and found not guilty by a jury of his peers who heard a lot more than the tabloids shared.... we have to trust this and honor what MJ did for society. I personally truly believe that his heart was in the right place and while he stayed out of the spotlight with all of his humanitarianism and good deeds for the most part he still deserves the respect given to Princess Di.

Every hear of innocent until proven guilty---you dip wad.

wheres Dimebag Darrell Abbot mentioned in this article? He deserves to be mention!!!! He was to the guitar for metal as hendrix was to the guitar for rock. He should have been mentioned. RIP Dime

There will never be another Princess Diana, She was more than special, She had a heart of gold...........Everyone loved her, how could they not? She is laid to rest in a beautiful place. I also loved Michael Jackson & I do believe that his place of rest should be no less than the biggest monumental shrine, where fans can visit his body. we know he isn't there, he's in heaven doing the moonwalk......I will always love you MICHAEL!!

I went to Jimis Funeral but it was a closed ceremony but the day after I went to his gravesite in Renton. Still circling his tomb were all the wreaths and flowers sent by well wishers. On top of his tomb was a White carnation Guitar . I plucked one carnation from the Strat and I kept it in my freezer for over 20 years. It finally turned black and didntegrated. ASll this after I laid on his tomb and asked the Devil to bestow upon me the Curse of Robert Johnson. To this day I can not play a single not.

Show me and the rest of the world the court documents that convicted Michael Jackson as a child abuser---oops, I forgot there aren't any!!!!!!

  • Posted By: katesgarden @ 07/17/2009 4:17:19 PM

It is truely a shame that for all the years Frank Sinatra gave to us (during the war years ) HIS MUSIC, ALL THE GREAT MOVIES, that someone, anyone would have made sure that he would have a more beautiful resting place weather he wanted it or not. He will never be forgotten.

I totally agree with LAMedicineHands - NO WAY! This drug user and child abuser was a freak - not a King. But just like O.J. Simpson, it proves money can buy and get you out of most anything. I know one of the families that brought charges against this creep. And the child is pernamently scarred and damaged, and the three million Jackson's attorney's paid the family will never cover the child't needed psych care.
Princess Di was a lovely lady who worked to do great works for others around the world. The only thing Jackson did was build a child porn palace and spend his money on cosmetic procedures, and after those failed and HIDE from the world.
And why is the JACKSON estate not responsible for THEIR needed security at MJ's funeral circus?
If we held such an event our own families would be.
    World wake up!
No king here - creep only.

Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, Jim Croce, George Harrison and John Lennon, Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings and many others are the kind that will be remembered in the coming years. Newsweek is grandstanding by including m jackson in this article. Mj is the king of pffft., Yea, that's right, same as passing gas. A little bit of sound, but mostly smell, soon to be forgotten with the breeze.

  • Posted By: LAMedicineHands @ 07/17/2009 4:03:42 PM

    No. No. No.
This was was not of royalty. He was a 'die' hard drug user. He was many things this world would shame, if they would take time to read those court docments his money tried bury. And the true royal family certainly didn't stick our city of Los Angeles with a huge funeral bill. Hey Joe Jackson! This cityis out of money, can we borrow a dollar to pay for YOUR son's funeral???

Michael Jackson's family has an obligation to uphold his choice of faith even if they do not agree with it. Given the current political climate it's understandable that they would want to downplay his reversion to Islam, but it's still wrong. I would hope he would be buried simply and in the direction of the Qibla, but given the ornate casket he's been placed in and the behavior of his father, it's becoming increasingly clear the family would prefer to put on a good show to appease themselves and Jackson fans, rather than uphold his true legacy and lifestyle.

Michael Jackson should not be put up for sainthood. He was a very good entertainer, but . . . Let him have a simple headstone that his children can visit in peace, not some outrageous spectacle, monument or island.

Michael Jackson--"KING" deserves a burial fit for one, as Princess Di was, per her social status. Michael' should have some of his famous dance moves and pictures etched in the stone. I love the black and white pic with his arms reaching out and the wind blowing his hair, he looked happy and at peace with himself.
bigjohn009---you talk trash, so I can only assume you are nothing but pure trash yourself. I cannot believe they posted your comment or were you looking in a mirror when you wrote it?

No, Michael Jackson nor Frank Sinatra should have a memorial equal to Princess Diana's. Her life, her work, her arms that reached out to the children of the world, her patience with a husband that not only did not love her but did not deserve her, and her tolerance with the rest of the royal family render her deserving of a memorial fit for the beautiful princess that she was. Never will there be a princess like her. The world is a poorer place without her presence in it. I for one, will always miss her. Time will never dull the pain of her loss.

I would hope that Michael Jackson's family would decide that a simple marker such as that for Frank Sinatra would suffice.
