    "I would rather let 100 guilty men go free than to send one innocent man to jail." Until he gets there. Then I don't care if he is innocent or not. I am not sure that is really what the Founding Fathers had in mind.

    There is a major difference- unborn fetuses don't have a brain function or a central nervous system until the 5th month of pregnancy. Without such function, they have no consciousness and no self and its ludicrous to afford them the same rights and protections as full fledged human beings. And just as significantly, a fetus is an infringement on the autonomy of the pregnant woman- sometimes willingly, sometimes not.
