So much is happening in Kenya today, which can't all possibly be ventilated in a single article. But surely John, who we all admire for his role in making us Kenyans more aware of the forms and effects of corruption, could have highlighted some, and also offered proffered deeper insight and solutions. It is awfully inadequate to take prime Newsweek space to just restate what we all know, and abhor- the violence. How does John hope to augment the desperate efforts of reform-minded Kenyans in and out of the coalition? Who in Kenya is holding back the National Accord and reconciliation? What should the international community do? How do we insulate the 2012 elections against the blatant rigging that precipitated the terrible events of last year? These are the key priorities for us and the international community, whose role has been and will still be crucial in Kenya's political processes.
