Jimbo -- you're just being silly here. Surely you must know that, somewhere deep down?

I remember a time -- a long time ago, admittedly -- when I thought George Will had some reasonable points to make, and that he often did so with estimable logic and coherence. But I can't remember the last time I had that thought. These days, he's more the grumpy old man telling us to "keep off the grass" than a useful commentator on the politics of the day. I mean, really, can George Will not say a single nice thing about this president? Must he take every rhetorical cheap shot that comes his way (or, indeed, go out of his way in search of cheap shots)? Must every George Will column be an absolute fountain of negativity? It's ironic that he uses the term "incontinent" in this column, in the sense that he does. Because, at base, George Will these days seems to be a guy who just pisses on everything.

and if you want my opinion on afghanistan, STOP TRYING TO KILL EVERY "TERRORIST"
It's not terrorism for them, they say 'there's america, they bomb the heck out of us, and so we fight'
That's not terrorism, that's nationalism, and that is what "Terrorists" are told by 'recruiting agents', namely, that America is the terrorist, and that they have to fight us. If you want to beat Al Qaeda, IRA, etc, get the PEOPLE to like you, they're the ones who give actual Terrorists the power they need to keep going. Try getting Afghanis and Iraqis to LIKE and TRUST you, not by bombing the heck out of villages and mountains where they were born and raised, and then saying you're looking for "Terrorists". What would you think if Russia started bombing the U.S. to try and "arrest Criminals, rapists, murderers, etc."? You would fight back too. So stop killing the people, stop hunting for them like dogs, and get the people to like and trust you, and they will then help you.
