Seems like Obama and Berlusconi are both finding Mussolini's handling of the press to be politically useful. Obama's attack on Fox news and bloggers and talk radio over so called 'distortions" of his health care plan is in the same vein as Berlusconi editing the press coverage of his personal life. Same approach different reasons. Wake up America. Obama and his White House attack dogs are fascistic in character and strategy.

What is an affront to the "state" is the Prime Minister himself

I'm very surprised that Italy is allowing Berlusconi to turn himself into a dictator. They're starting to sound like Venezuela, without the oil.

I find it hard to believe that Berlusconi is getting away with such nonsense. He's not the problem; its the people of Italy who keep him voting him into office. On the other hand, if they want a dictator, they have that right.

    how boring,
Berlusconi is a lascivious fool who should be thrown out of his party and the Italian Government. All he does for Italy is make the country a laughingstock of international politics. How sad for such a beautiful and historical important region to have debased itself to elect such a buffoon who even names his bimbos as Media ministers.
    Sad,sad, sad,
