Yeah, yeah, yeah--brevity is the soul of wit, and tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes. Not to take umbrage with Shakespeare, but it's more than long-windedness that kills a joke. It takes no words to dumbly smash a watermelon, or to grunt in mockery of the speech-impaired. There are just some people, of few words or many, that have the remarkable gift of making us not laugh. Hey, Jim, take it easy on her. It's not her fault Newsweek ran it - it's a "web exclusive!" It's so exclusive they couldn't even run it in their magazine, because if they did, it'd be less "exclusive!" Maybe your comments should be more "inclusive," you ever think about that?

Wow, this article is terrible. You couldn't find a better way to draw some hits to your blog than by throwing a bunch of comedians hipsters hate under the bus? What's next, "12 Celebrities Who Need To Take It Down A Notch?"

Actually, that's a great idea for an article. Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Criss Angel...think of all the hits you'd get off Google searches! Sarah Ball, I hope you can forgive me for calling your article terrible and help me pitch my idea to Fareed Zakaria.
