Do voters really believe Hilary will make Universal Health Care a reality?...Those who do are living in a fool's paradise...Bill Clinton made the same promises 16 years ago...just as passionately..In 16 years it will be Chelsea's turn. Comment: The ego that causes men to believe that they are smarter, is the same ego that perpetuates the fallacy that women aren't. If a woman does have an inferiority complex, then I'm certain that it was brought on by a man. For example, the jealous husband who constantly belittles his wife because he doesn???t want her to believe that she is smart enough to outwit or replace him. Or the boss who, by nature of being male, tends to get higher level jobs with less education and skills than his female counterpart, develops the need to suppress his female subordinate for fear that she will show him up. Women learned a long time ago that it is far more dangerous to a woman's physical, emotional, and professional well being to confront the male ego on such matters than it is to play dumb! I guess we have been doing it so long that we have convinced ourselves.

The moderators loved them,and seemed to miss the point that Clinton and Edwards voted wrong

Mr Obama,more thoughtful and deliberate than his opponents said that he voted against the bills because
they did not serve the best interests of the American people. That decision indicates that he at least read about what he was voting on..
Comment: Mariepower, et al ~ What's all the stuff about religion? Why doesn't Huckabee talk truthfully about religion in America as did Romney? Huckabee's religion, whatever it is, does not agree with Romney's discussion of his beliefs about religion in America. For all practical purposes, Huckabee has no "religion". I live in the Bible Belt. I've discussed this with MANY Southern Baptists. Any church you choose to attend, something different will be taught. If someone doesn't like what one minister is teaching, just change churches and preachers. There's no agreement on much of anything. I've asked Southern Baptist preachers poignant questions such as, "Tell me, what is 'God', describe "God". They can't. "It" is some kind of mysterious power that we just don't understand. That's pretty strange. The Bible continuously personifies God by using the terms "He", "Him", "We", or "their image". It doesn't take a Ph.D. to figure it out. I guess a person can either think for her/himself or whatever.
But what does all this have to do with the skills needed to help dig our nation out? Absolutely nothing. We need to get serious! I believe Mr. Romney not only has the skills, but the patriotism and personal commitment to take a serious stab at it. Of all candidates in both parties, he's at the top!

Comment: I'm sorry, but God has always ended up being the culprit to justify everything unjustifyable in the history and present of this nation from slavery & racial inequality, to nuking civilian populations, to supporting regional superbullies who respond to stone and firecracker throwering children, with state-of-the-art U.S tax-fueled mechanisims of war, (to kick off the Armagedon) to a president who launches self-declared world-wars on cultures that will still be around to read about us in their history books--all because 'God spoke to him' (between swiggs of course). In the end, it all boils down to, 'Whose country is sitting on our strateigic special intrests, and how can we excise it while we believe have the God's mandate to do it? What the heey, let the future generations deal with the mess, we won't be here'.
Comment: Much as I duskuje Senatir Clinton and some of her campaign tactics, I do not blieve that she intended in any way to disparage the work of Dr. King or to imply that President John was a more important person in bringing about a more just society. I believe that her intent was to return the debate between herself and Senator Obama to the question of electability. Dr. King did heroic work for all Americans during the 1960s. But it is a fact that, had Barry Goldwater (who believed the civil rights act to be unconstituional) had been President instead of Lyndon Johnson, the struggle for even the first steps toward justice would have been longer and harder. I think this is what Senator Clinton meant. It was what she should have said in the first place.

Comment: Illegals are burdening our tax system...Perhaps the people who hire them should share in paying the overdue tax, penalties, interest and any other things that illegals have acquired through our system fraudulently.
Comment: As a tax preparer I see the extended privileges that some people have on their tax returns;When you hire an illegal and they dont have an itn or social security number, if they are a mother or father and have children, one parent claims head of household status and the kids, while the other parents income is left untaxed...and it shouldn't be a surprise that most of the time the income that is taxed is an amount that iseligible for earned income credit...resulting in thousands of dollars wrongfully refunded to people.

Black people would not tolerate a KKK into the white house. Therefore, Obama state he will continue his relationship with his pastor (Wright), even though this man is not related, so I say, why the American people should give the opportunity to Obama to potential invite his pastor to the White House. Obama is not sorry enough to cut his relationship with his pastor and his church; therefore, I say drop-out.
This is more than about race. This is also about Obama lying to the American people. This is about not having double standards. This is about him learning from his own mistake and igniting race into this primary election. This is about Obama making the Clintons to be awful people when they have served the public for decades. This is about the unjust they have done to them. This is about making people feel as though you cannot mention race because if you do, the Obama camp will cry foul. This is about the position they (Obama) would take if the shoe was on the other foot. This is about Obama pretending to be something that he was not, and making fools and insulting people intelligence. This is about Obama being able to make a decision and judgments. This is about Obama involved with individuals that is not good for our society. This is about Obama involved in relationship that prosper race.
At this moment he wants to tackle race relations and give me a speech as though he is the victim. He wants to give me a speech as though he is my savior to be all and end all racism, when he is in the midst of individuals that are racist and heartless. Please, give me a break, how dare you insult my intelligence to save your self. Remember this I am a black woman and I am highly offended. Comment: The American citizens has always demanded that their USA Presidents have sex appeal, and intellect, from JFK to President George W. Bush. So Milt Ronmney would be the best choice for the Republican Party to win the 2008 USA Presidency. The other Republican candidates are just too ugly, and old, to be considered an American President. Both Senator Barrack Obama or Senator Hillary Clinton has sex appeal and a strong intellect, and therefore would easily defeat any candiate except Milt Romney.

Comment: I love the article on Tom Anderson (MySpace cofounder) where they rip on his age - Jessica Bennett writes in the 11/5/07 issue: "His online profile currently lists his age as 32, but it appears he was actually born on Nov. 8, 1970, meaning he'll be 38 next week, not 33....Anderson is 5 years older than he claims." Anderson will be 37 if he was born in 1970 and he will only be 4 years older than he claims! If you're going to riff on someone's age at least get it right!

Comment: I had hoped to find some kind of real commentary from a group of people who had a clue or at least some inteelgent comments. I publish a magazine here in Pahrump and I would have been embarrassed to print this.
I would be happy to submit a review on the next debate with a group of people who have a clue. At this time each party is playing up to their own party members. You should be asking republicans about this debate and democrats about theirs.
