It's really funny to hear the brainwashed right wingers acting so bitterly by using smears against Obama's character! What's wrong? Do you need a kleenex? Clearly the GOP are using any tactics to try to undermind the facts and distort them by brainwashing america. I bet that most of the right wingers that are posting these bogus threads are the same ones that are unemployed, bigots, and have no clues about the issues in front of us and its the same people that voted for the same 8 years of the Bush policies and are willing to vote for 4 more of the same, ridiculous!!! How about this? Why dont you Neocons pack your bags, get with Mcshame and Painlin, move to Alaska, get on your road to nowhere, cross the bridge to nowhere and stay there!

THE LACK OF INTEREST IN KNOWING JUST WHO NOBAMA IS IS STUNNING!

    MEDICAL DISCLOSURE:

Senator John McCain has granted access to more than 2,500 pages of medical records, in 1999 and 2008, and a recent report, including all medications from a team of doctors at the Mayo Clinic who has been treating him for years.

NObama released in May, a one-page letter from his primary care doctor, who he had not seen in 18 months.

You question Sara Palins qualification fro the VP alot. How about questioning Obama's qualifications to be President. You stated that we need someone with high standards. Does Obama qualify. i don't think so ased on his assictiaon with know terrorists like ayers and preachers like Wright'' And look at his experience. he has none but he talk a good game and is very personnable. I guess its ok to be personable if you are a liberal candudate but not if you are a conservative like Sarah. God forbid if Obama gets elected lets hope your magazine will still be able to let the real people of the country, so called Hockey Moms and Pops express their opinions. Regards and how about telling all the truth about Obama and Biden.

The Democrats must really be sweating the benefits that will be reaped by the Republicans by having Palin on the ticket. The Democrats are almost in a panic about her. If she was no threat to them, they would ignor her. They must be really scared that she could help make McCain the Pres.
Go Palin!! Put that lipstick on you pit bull and bring home the victory!!

Let the political issues be brought on the table, and do not pay attention to the bias media favoring a presidential candidate. Please do not be disturb by the sarcasms and inflictions done. After knowing the issue let your mind speaks out whom you favor. As a voter having such right, its only you who can decide your choice. From the debate you know who is so consistent, well composed, has the knowledge, experience and prepared to handle the tasks of the presidency. Above all ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit come election day, and pray that the American people choose the right candidate.

I am writing this message to inform people of the injustice being perpretrated by Fox News against Barack Obama. For the past two weeks there has been nothing but negative reporting against senator Obama by the Fox News network, which is unfair to listeners and the candidate. My concern is that negative reporting like this will influence voters that are undecided of which candidate best express their wishes. I depend on these news stations for fair, accurate and just reporting regardless of the outcome whether it be a debate or any other current event and if that cant be accomplished I feel that it is grounds for that station (Fox News network) to be boycotted until they learn and understand that those types of injustices will not be tolerated. If anyone else can relate to the unfair reporting of Fox News I suggest that you join me in a boycott of this news station.

McCain gave the same old tired speech while Obama tried to make it into a legitimate discussion. McCain gave the same old tired expressions which we've heard so many times before. I would like a truly give and take, face to face discussion. nchorey

I think your (author's) choice of words is unfortunate, i.e., panic, because it is highly inflammatory, when it does not need to be and probably is not accurate about Paulson, as you say it is. This is a case where you, the media, say "the glass is half empty" instead of "the glass is half full" out of habit, but end up inciting the very panic in which you accuse Paulson of being, because the anxious public is highly volatile, i.e., panics easily.

There is a big difference between panic and doing what absolutely must be done. The degree of urgency experessed by Paulson and Bernanke and other authorities, e.g., Warren Buffet, Hillary Clinton, etc, is appropriate. That doesn't make it panic.

Let me give an example: Suppose someone in a crowded public place smells smoke and begins calmly telling everyone who can hear that they should RETIRE quickly, but orderly from the building. You mishear what they said, thinking they said FIRE, so you cry out loadly "FIRE FIRE FIRE". You have caused the panic that is likely to ensue.

While I don't think you did this intentionally, this is what the tradeoff is between responsible journalism versus sensational journalism.

In any case, I applaud Paulson and Bernanke for having the expertise and the moxy to step up to the plate on this. I don't give a damn whether they are part of the Bush Administration or whether they are Democrat or Republican. I only care that they are doing what needs to be done now...the right thing and I applaud them for doing it.

    Thanks.

I'd like to shed some light on something. If your a democrat running for president this year on the slogan of
"hope," I would wish you could give me more to hope for then a canidate who never served in the military. Has any one asked Obama why he feels qualified to make political commitment to war when he himself has never served his country in this manner? Let me tell you that I have been to Iraq twice so far and can see the progress. What I cant see myself is following a man who has never served in the military.. you can not
buy that knowledge, you can not google it.

  • Posted By: PAcman @ 09/16/2008 1:42:48 PM

I think it's disgusting the way more democrats are focused on degrading a war hero in attempts to
make a man who has done little more than play the race card and answer of hope is answering every
question with another question. Are you better off than you were 4 years ago? Yes I am.
