    I think it's disgusting the way more democrats are focused on degrading a war hero in attempts to
    make a man who has done little more than play the race card and answer of hope is answering every

    Letter in response to China Not Yet on the Medal Stand. I have traveled often to Greece. This country is the same way. It is very difficult to travel there if you are disabled. they do not brake for pedestrians, in fact a pedestrian will get a ticket for crossing when it is not safe. Safety is not a primary concern. Every person is responsable for themselves. I also have a child with severe food allergies and consistently I find a "why should I care "attitude from the european airline down to the Greek family members. I am so fortunate to live in a country that does care about other people from the airlines, to the schools and my neighbors. Jeannette Rizos Southampton, MA

    When MSNBC announced the other day that Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews were being replaced as co-anchors of the cable network's nightly political broadcast it was evident that once more that the conservative right wing still holds control of the media, which is why most of the people that want real news watch Democracy Now!

    You seem to make it difficult for anyone to reach you. I probably will never bother with this process again. i just want to say that your experts and msnbc are not helping our country and candidates by being so biased. I am so disappointed with your sarcasm and little substance. I used to be a fan, but protocol and respect for opposing points of view are time-honored American values, and you both need to find them again. At this point, you could possibly hurt the best candidate by continuing your poor practices.

    Hi,
    I don't want to sound dumb, but Obama has a smoking habit , he is trying to break!

    He has a cancer background and has trouble giving up smoking?

    My husband has lost 4 brothers and 1 sister to cancer who smoked. The parents died of cancer too. This is a big problem to me and other non smokers.

    Why now, he had to be hiding the habit and fact he smoked. There are a lot of non smokers out here who would have like to have known this sooner.

    He is trying to break the habit !!!!!!!! so does this mean he has a self control issue? How are his children, does he smoke around them, if he does, it shows little regard for his children. Does Michelle smoke?

    Is this the type of person to change our government and he can't control his smoking and why did he hide it till yesterday? Smoking is no small thing, I think this is harmful to him and to all around him.

    I may be the only who considers this important, but I feel all non smokers would feel the same way. This is a person with a habit that kills.

    He covered that fact up good, what else is he keeping in his tight little group.

    Am I wrong?????

      did you know mccain is hiding things in his tight little group look nut smoking has nothing to do with the economy failing and we are on our way to depression as if you didnt know lets be realistic about some things you are the only person who thinks that a cigarette is important while the rest of us try to struggle and provide a way for our children i have had eight years of torment i have four more months not four more years do you get it

      Obama has, at least, 50 good years to live. Just 10 years shorter to make it to hundred because of the stress of his presidency. Anyhow, by the time he is gone, his 8 yrs mandate will be long done. Have you heard about the Sun vanishing in about 6 billions yrs? Well, I am glad to announce to you that by then, you and I will be long, long, long gone sweety. Oh, sorry. Geez, I have this bad habit calling people sweety. Must be an Obama syndrome.

    This is another typical example of media trying to use the wrong frame to mislead American idiots. I agree completely with one of the comments that it is wrong to assume that McCain got "substance". In fact, he either has "no subtance" or "shitty substance". Unfortunately, some of the American people do not even know that since both McCain and Bush are dogs of the Republican bosses, McCain has already served two terms under the name of Bush. There's no surprise those idiots will continue to vote for McCain for the third time.

    i am not impressed with sarah. she is too slick. it amazes me that no one wants to take her on in regards to her creationism stance not to mention her fundamental religious leanings. why is the press so scared of her? why does the democratic party seem so afraid of going after the abuses of the republican administration. why has bush been able to slide by without ever being held accountable? i just don't get it.
