Now you really know the stimulus isn't working and they don't know what to do - except come up with this phony distraction again. But, if Eric needs to find something to do I can probably come up with a list as long as your arm beginning with Barney Frank, ACORN and ending with Illinois politics, or maybe the other way around.

What a puff piece. I hope he does prosecute the Bush administration, and suffer an embarrassing and humiliating defeat because they will have misread the American people once again. That will just set a precedent were the next administration can prosecute the Obama administration for high treason and lynch them like they deserve.

After reading this "OVER DRAMATIC" article, full of ass kissing and trying to put a sensitive face on the Attorney general is a disgrace to Newsweek. The writer seems very sophomoric in his approach. if this was a news story and not a puff piece, obviously pushed by the Obama administration, this article could have conveyed its news worthiness in 4 paragraphs, instead of 4 pages. But hey they needed filler.

Oh the poor baby was so distraught over the Marc Rich pardoning is just more evidence on why this spineless snake has no business holding the position of attorney general. He is nothing more than a patsy servant doing Obama's and Emanuel's bidding.

The last paragraph is just right-out deplorable, and can very well be a misstep by the writer, Newsweek, and the administration. How over dramatic it is, Quote "He was "shocked and saddened," he told a friend, by what government servants were alleged to have done in America's name. When he was done he stood at his window for a long time, staring at Constitution Avenue."

Ha Ha Ha. What a joke this is and as far as I am concerned shows how weak and misguided this *** truly is. I will be willing to bet a dollar that most Americans really don't care what steps the Bush administration took to protect us from further attacks, or just how many times these soulless barbarians were water boarded, just that they kept us safe.

This group has to keep dredging up Bush to divert the attention away from their own incompetence. They are heading down a path of economic ruin and government slavery.

Does anyone reallly believe Newsweek has any creditability in judging whether or not Obama represents Catholics better than the Pope?

Thats like saying Nazis' comments about jews are news worthy.

The Bush administration violated the laws of the nation and therefore violated the constitution. The US now have number of prisoners that are outside of the judicial system because the Bush administration authorized tactics that were outside of the laws of the nation. This caused a violation of the constitution that sets up the government with a system of Checks and Balances. The Bush administration went out side of the constitution, and the oath of office is that the role of the President is to uphold the constitution.
The Obama administration doesn't want to investigate and prosecute the Bush administration because of the wild fishing expeditions of past presidential investigations. It is apparent from past presidential investigations that once an investigator gets his hands on a presidential investigation, it is like being written a blank check. And the longer he can keep one going the more money he can milk out of the government. Another reason why Obama does not want to investigate is because there are a large number of unstable republican thinking going on. Republicans are buying guns and ammo preparing for some sort of fight. They talk about an Armageddon that includes a German style hyper-inflation. The propaganda coming from the right is becoming more extreme. A Bush investigation could launch an extreme reaction. There have already been some extreme episodes coming from the right.
The problem is that not prosecuting these war crimes means that this will happen again. Cheney used past presidential power grabs during wars as and excuse, and now there is just another precedent to add to the list of presidential wrong doing that is basically explained that during a time of war the country reverts to monarchical style government, where a president is seen as infallible.

America will never be the land of the free and home of the brave until George Bush and Dick Cheney are
prosecuted and given severe prison sentence with no pardons.

What arrogance for a left wing rag like Newsweek to speak for American Catholics. Mr Obama doesn't speak for me or any other Catholics I know on social issues.

Obama SEX Benefits: My ideological life's journey has crossed paths with Obama since 2006 when he visited South Africa as a Senator, and I still have reasons not to be a fan.

Like your story rightly indicated, Mr Obama is not alone in this sex benefit stories, the whole humanity is. All of modern humanity have become victims of this self imposed imaginary negativity. Yet there is nothing wrong with having sex. Sex has a lot of health benefits.

Having researched and written some of the 28 books that I had published so far, I know that healthy sex can bestow many benefits on. Most of what the world believes about sex is often based on imaginary religious assumption that sex was evil. I think it is time that all of humanity have a re-think about the subject of sex and sexuality and avoid hurting each other, abusing our spouses and lovers for sexual healing?

My God! I am out of words to describe this blatant insensitive garbage take on such a mammoth American icon by a news outlet I personally have long regarded us unbiased and reputable. What a shame! Newsweek what a shame! You almost remind of those die-hard racist and sick minded mouth peaces that use political correctness to shade their ill. What a shame Newsweek, you have lost me and every good person I know.
Couldn???t you at least wait when the sadness left? If I live long enough I can???t wait to see what you write about Madonna and Marilyn Manson as a tribute or yet what you???ve written about Elvis.
My God! What a garbage Newsweek has become.

Iranian Mullah pose no threat to US or any other countries and are not even near to build a nuclear bomb. In my opinion US must leaves Iran alone and play politics with lots of delicacy and patience. For last 30 years Iranian Mullah claiming that all the western countries with leadership of US are trying to harm Revolution and using this slogan suppressing all their opponent. This time Ahamadinehad is so desperate to some how connect Iranian unrest to US. As usual!
