Please help me with my confusion but are there not colosal squid also in the mexican waters as well ? and are they not as large or larger that the one caught in tha Antartic?

i keep thinking that the total number of colossal squid that humans have killed is 2. who knows if they are even endangered maybe they are just really sneaky? what about all the people that were killed in "20 thousand leagues under the sea" by that giant squid. i think they are winning
