Girls Gone Bad

Paris, Britney, Lindsay & Nicole: They seem to be everywhere and they may not be wearing underwear. Tweens adore them and teens envy them. But are we raising a generation of 'prosti-tots'?

Comment: Some States if your Daughter Complaines of Too Much Control will Charge the Parent with Abuse and then invistagate and use the most Inosent Information and word of the child to cause the family to brake up and even if the parent defends there actions are Black balled into closing the case by intemidation and coration.

Comment: Whine, whine, whine! How many celebrities have ever claimed to be role models? That's right; not one. It is YOU, the dumb parent who holds these people up to such high standards for your children and then blame the celebrities for not living up to your ideals. Parents, not celebrities should be role models. Believe it or not, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney and Jamie Spears burp, pass gas, and put on their clothes(when they wear some) just like the rest of us.

Comment: What a ridiculous comment from fsilber. If they had actually read the article, the "problem" has been around for literally millions of years, and our culture has not "collapsed." Youths are performing the same actions they always have; now, it is merely all right to talk about these issues in public as it is no longer stigmatized as it once was. Despite being a "sleazy" culture America is still as prudish and uncomfortable about women's sexuality as it always has been, and will remain a hand-wringing point of concern for years to come.

Comment: The history of "bad girls" suggests that the problem has been slowly and steadily getting worse for a century. It will probably continue getting worse until our culture finally collapses. It reminds me of a Playboy cartoon from the 1970s -- an aged couple walking down the street pass a young woman having sex outside a doorway as a line of dozens of other men wait their turn. The old lady says to the old man, "In my day, nice girls didn't do that."
