I'm not sure what is sadder... the fact that so many of you wasted your time watching a movie that was completely inaccurate (I live in McKinney and have 2 kids in high school) or the fact that so many of you felt the need to express your feelings on here and YOU CAN'T SPELL AND HAVE BAD GRAMMAR!!! Maybe a great number of you need to get off you hind ends and away from these stupid "made for TV" movies (doesn't your own life have enough drama?) and pick up a good book... sheesh....

What really happened was not nearly as bad as the movie portrayed. The movie empowered them and now made them celebrities... thanks alot! Everyone here in McKinney thinks Y'ALL (intentional) are a bunch of stupid, lazy, hopeless dumba**es... Get a life!!!

Please look before you type. Your grammar is not any better than those your judging.

If I were lecturing people about their grammar, I probably wouldn't use the non-word "alot." The correct spelling is "a lot."

If I were you, I probably wouldn't us the non-word "alot" when lecturing people about their lack of grammar skills. The correct spelling is "a lot".
How is it that we non-McKinneyites need to "get a life" because we might have watched a movie (I did not; beside the point), but it's ok for you to get on a bulletin board and gripe at us about it?

I cant believe that the mom of one of the cheerleaders (and principle) let them get away with all of that. They shouldnt let her work as a principle again. And when your child acts like that theres only 1 word that comes to mind "DISCIPLINE!!!!!"

How reckless and immature can one act? What those girls need is a nice beating. How could any school in the country put up with such horrible behavior? They were given far too many chances and if it was not for new management they might have ruined the whole school experience for other students. I also believe that those girls' parents must have been irresponsible and just as reckless as them. Especially for a principal who deals with unbearable kids everyday to not control their own child. She needed to resign. She obviously wasn't running that school properly.

I have to go off topic here for a minute but I'm fed up with people putting their racial thoughts into something that could've been done in any color school. How pathetic can one person be to make a comment like "only in white schools". That's just plain ignorant and that person shouldn't even post if they have nothing else they can add.

Anyways, I just saw the movie last night and it was one of those that you just raise your fist to and want someone to knock one of these girls on their you know what but what's even sadder is how the parents just as mentioned by others that they let their kids do this. It's lack of parenting and that's what's wrong with society today. No one has anyone to guide them in the right direction so they turn into a follower of someone they think better suitable for what could be perceived as lack of attention. What happens is they think it's okay to step on those they seem fit to. But what I don't understand is that it's high school and it seemed that no one wanted to stick up for themselves and get trampled on by these idiotic little girls. Which in a sense makes them week. Sure there was going to be action taken against that person but I tell you, the school I went to, the girls would've beat the hect out of them.

It's going to pretty sick if they don't learn from this but seeing that I still know women who act like their still better than everybody, even in their 20's probably won't occur so they'll go through life having to try and follow someone. But you know in the end, things come back around and when they do, they better believe no one will be their to save them.

Also I highly think it'd wouldn't be a topic of debate if it wasn't true or even shown on lifetime since they are one of the stations that show the truth in their movies. No remorse should be given to these girls and those that think they weren't as bad as shown on tv or even the net is more ignorant that little retarded spoiled brats.

A good kick in the face would justify what they should've got. And as for the mom getting $75,000 shows that justice is truely blind. Everyone needs to realize that there are things like this going on all throughout the US but because it's hidden beneath illusions, they don't see it and therefore haven't a clue as to what's going on. There are girls like this, I've seen them and I've lived in VA, MD, CA, OH. Those girls are either spilling out babies from different dads or are still in denial that they didn't do nothing to nobody when in fact they have. Then they wonder why bad things are happening.

Everyone needs to know that you're own stupidity will lead you to your own downfall.

This is American Education System at work again a sad excuse. 1. These girls was a continue problem and they did not do anything about the problem. But when it reached media they did a sad attempt at disciplining them. Which it didn't do nothing then the girls screwed up again that should have been the point to kick them out of the school damn the parents the parents was a sad excuse of raising their kids. 2. The principle Theret recently reached a settlement with the school board, agreeing to resign in exchange for a payment of around $75,000 and a letter of recommendation are you kidding me. You pay her for being a below average principle and a letter of recommendation that???s beyond stupid only in a white schools. America at its best what a great country ya right.

As a mother of 4 daughters who were all cheerleaders and great kids I have to blame the parents and the school...They should have been able to stop this before it became a *DIVA* issue. It's called rules, respect and boundries.Toss them on their spoiled rears and disqualify them from any further involvement in the *SQAUD*

all i have to say is that texas schools as a rule, are NOT lenient. my kids' elementary school still uses scare tactics by hanging paddles in each room, and they use them. all through high school. my son got sent home for having his "bangs" touching his eye brows. that school was lenient because of the principal (duh).

I am a Mother of three Daughters that made it through there teen years without having to deal with all of this. First of all,'
I truely feel sad for the "Fabulous Five"..........they have been dealt a true injustice. Why didn't someone step up to the plate at the first signs of their unbecoming behavior? I cannot imagine anything like this happening at our High School. At the first sign of their antics, it would have been "nipped in the bud"! They have made themselves a disgrace to their school (which they were supposed to be respresentatives of), they have marked their future by their extreme behavior,
the school administration totally let these girls down, as well. Had things been taken care of in a correct manner at the onset of these girls's antics, perhaps all of this scandal would never have happened. These girls are going to have to live with what they were ALLOWED to do! Now.....let's see? Where do we place the blame? It is indeed a sad situation and I am disgusted by the actions of the school administration and the parents of these girls. Both could, and should have stepped in and stopped this before it went too far! Of course, then, as the law suits start, more publicity for the the girls, the school, and the parents. WOW!! Now THAT is something to be proud of! God help you all!

I am a Mother who has raised three daughters in Pennsyvania. I must tell you that the schools in Texas must be a LOT more lenient than Pennsylvania schools! These "Fabulous Five" are a disgrace to any school and actions should have been taken at the very beginning of their antics, not condoning their actions and letting it get totally out of control. We all know as parents that teenagers can test us all, but these five girls are certainly not ones that I would want to represent our High School........or any other High School! What they have done will folllow them all through their lives.......if only ONE
person had "nipped it the bud" at the very beginning, perhaps these girls would not have been able to continue their antics and disgrace their school! Just MY opinion.....but the parents of these girls should stop and take a look at what they have allowed their daughters to do to their personal lives! Shame on the parents, the school, and those five girls!

I have not wasted any time watching the movie; what I know comes only from this article. Whether the movie was accurate or NOT is not the issue. The issue is negligent, enabling, denying, rationalizing (and oh, let me guess...busy) parents turning a blind eye to the antics of their precocious, rude, obnoxious arrogant, (and oh, let me guess...oh so special) rich-girl daughters....girls who apparently think looking like an internet whore is a worthy goal.

I substitute teach, so I am subjected to students like this only occasionally, and I do not have to deal with parents. I let them know their behavior is not cute, smart, mature or funny. I tell them it is annoying, obnoxious, immature, rude and dispruptive. Then I write up a form for disciplinary action and send them to the office. I do not want to imagine what fresh daily Hell they put teachers, administrators, other stuidents through.

There are 3 things that speak to the truth of all these allegations:
    1. there are photos
    2. the principal is out
    3. no parents are suing anyone for libel or slander (this on its own merit speaks volumes)

And in case you are wondering....yes...I have children and they got through their teens just fine, thank you.

People, this is the kind of crap that continues in our school. There are so many problems that we are unable to handle quickly & forcibly. I mean paying the mom $75,000 to quit? Come on! The problem is parents want to be there teenage friends instead of their moms & dads. I see moms dressing up like their daughters all the time. As a society we have gone down hill! We will continue this path until we take responsibility for having and raising these kids!

I would like to get kicked out of school for kicking the s..t out dumb bi... like that, let some skank talk to me like that, I'll do what their parents should have done a long time ago. Fab 5 my ass, come to my neck of the woods Texas skanks. I'll show you, how much the "real" world will welcome you.

All Atheletes have always been given special consideration. Until School Districts take education seriously and put sports well into the back seat of importance, actions similar to these (and worse) will continue.
