URGENT! A far better health care plan from Insurance Corruption. com:
1. The government becomes an insurance company and makes a profit which is used to pay down the deficit.
2. It charges premiums based on income.
3. Nothing is free, even if the poorest only pay a dollar for a service, medicine, etc.
4. The current government bureaucracy is made efficient and productive.
5. Small business owners do not have to provide insurance coverage.
6. Insurance companies are prohibited from any involvement which eliminates their ability to create laws that victimize us.
7. Offers even more profit at ???The Best Plan???
It???s extremely important to contact legislators and as many people as possible quickly.

I am furious about your recent issue with Sarah Palin on the cover and the additional close up photos of Sarah inside. I am not even a Palin fan but I was truly offended by this issue of your magazine. My initial reaction was to cancel my subscription. That reaction still holds. Unfortunately, my husband likes your magazine. I was offended on many fronts: as a woman, as a citizen, as a voter, as a mother, etc. Your bias is showing but not in a good way and certainly not in a professional way. So, you don't like the woman. Would you do that photo op for Hilary, Michelle, Cindy, Mrs. Biden? I think the powers that be at Newsweek have lost sight of your mission statement!!!!! Who the hell do you think you are to act in such an arrogant manner? Step back and take stock of your priorities and goals. So, you rather be in the "hatchet" business? Your recent issue took me back to the Rona Barrett Hollywood type of news gathering. I don't want to see individuals, male or female, torn down in this manner. I just want some intelligent reporting, whether I agree with it or not, to give me pause for thought and decision making. You have sunk to a new level in the media world.

Help, I have tried for the past year to order Newsweek or been offered subscriptions which I respond to positviley only to be told that the magazine cannot be sent to APO addresses. How can that be, we who serve our country overseas are not allowed to read our favorite magazine because it is not allowed, Who is not allowing it and why are they not allowing it. I want to get to the bottom of this fiasco. jeff dye
