Comment: I knew Alan while going to school in Gooding, ID. He was then and continued to be one of the kindest, strongest individuals I have ever had the honor of meeting. Hearing his voice and the softness that this decorated Marine has in his voice gives me goosebumps. Dawn, I commend you on your strength and the obvious depth of your love and support of your husband. Comment: Thank you for bringing the voices of the fallen here. The quiet grace of those who fight, the fact that they lived - loved. Were parent's, children and friends deserves to be remembered and honored. Politics has no place among the fallen - just loving faith and thanks for their lives and sorrow for their loss.
