    I was fortunate enough to meet Jemy Maren who signed a lovely photo - after all, no matter your age - who doesn't love the Wizard of Oz and the munkins, lion, tin man, scarecrow, toto, and of course, Dorothy.

        Well done! Uplifting, interesting and inspirational. Some of these men and women are in pretty good shape. And all have kept their sense of humor and wonderment. I have not seen the movie in awhile. There is a DVD viewing of "The Wizard Of Oz" in my near future. Thank you, Newsweek.

    I just watch the Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz. Here in Muskegon, Michigan we have another Oz cast members. He is Danny Winsor who was the flying monkey who flew off with Toto. Danny suffered a stroke in late August and was unable to attend this years reunion. Danny is in De Boer Nursing Home and is doing well.

    Obama is viewed by other non allied world leaders as weak and wihy washy. He is literally inviting another 9/11. He and his entire team need to retire early. Vote GOP in 2010 and anybody but Obama in 2012.

      Yeah, that's what's in every right-wing mind all along. Another power grab. Which can only happen if Obama fails. And they want to achieve it regardless of consequences to the country and its people. Iran agreed to process their uranium outside to ensure compliance with U.N. mandate. Obama have been decisive in giving the orders to open fire on Somali pirates leading to death of the pert and freeing the ship captain. Two journalist were freed by North Korea. Obama sent additional troops to Afghanistan and McChrystal is pursuing the correct strategy. How are getting all of these kind of results can be seen as weak? Only to the minds of scorch-earth politics of right-wing loonys.

    While many of us are busy using the race card did you know that about 10% of AMERICANS are "unemployed"... and that doesn't count the people that live here who aren't looking for jobs at all. By the way... instead of the many (but not all) democrats who are focusing so hard on the Healtcare reform, what happened to the Job Reform? : ) I'm still looking for the money that grows on trees Obama??? Where is it!!!

        Ten percent is actually low the real number is about 11% when you factor in those who have quit looking for work. In addition it is nearly 15% WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE UNDER EMPLOYED - those working two part time low paying jobs trying to make ends meet. The stimulus was a horrible failure as has theis administration been since it has taken office and that is NOT Bush's fault.

      Actually West is living the American dream with endless opportunities and wealth. Still not enough.....

      See folks, any azzhole can make a million, takes an education to keep it.

      We'll see how Mr. West finances look come 5 yrs, then he can blame his loss of wealth on the only thing "everything" has to be with this man. Because of his race.

      Race isn't a small factor of life with some people,with Mr. West, it's the only factor.
