That is NOT what I - would hope from a Reagan - and I am NOT at all happy with the Reagan.

I'm, not sure that I made myself clear about Ted Kennedy. My comment was that maybe he'll get to tell Mary Jo why he went to a motel while she was dying. I hope he gets to tell her that shortly. He was my senator for many years and I wrote him many letters asking for help on some of my concerns but liberal bast**dthat he was it never happened. I was in a restraunt in DC one evening while he was harrassing a young lady and I watched the news carefully while the DA exeronated him for murer of Mary Jo. At the time, everyone of his friends gave hundreds of excuses why he had to live and they didn't give a damn that she died. Everything form she was trying to ruin his campaign to she was drunk and he was only trying to help.
Then they came up with the Camelot bull, another fairy tale and the liberals in Massachusetts loved it.
Maybe, once he's gone there will be a chance to reverse the politics, get rid of Deval Patrick a few others, some of the stupid judges who legislate from the bench and save the few republicans still there.

Enter Your Comment She was a girl who enjoyed the Kennedy glamor and what about the woman in Washington that was murdered and a California government appointee was involved. What about the reporter in the Clinton Adminstration that turned up dead. Ted Kennedy and all the Kennedys have done great work for the disabled, for the down trodden, etc. We lost a great president in John F. Kennedy and we lost Bobby Kennedy. Along with the 60's came hell on earth.

Maybe there's still time to erase the Republican mindset and start out with some fresh new ideas that we can all embrace. I think everyone's ready for something different. Your post is awful, BTW... sorry, it's just too graphic.

JFK was the best we had and the Kennedys have done a lot of good for this country, while the Bush family are a bunch of crooks sending men and women into Iraq to be harmed, mamed and killed in the name of oil. I for one know George Bush was thrown the election in 2000. Florida votes were never counted and the military never received ballots. Al Gore and Joe Lieberman were elected, but never had a chance because of a crooked establishment that allowed the brother of George, to thow him the election and not count the Florida votes. The Christian coalition should have stayed out of it and the 700 club should have stayed out of it. They have no right forcing their view on all America. I am a believer, but not a Christian.

I think it's absolutely uncanny that Tammy Haddad and Torie Clarke went to high school together, albeit two years apart.

  • Posted By: CaptMidnight80224 @ 09/03/2008 1:30:26 AM

What I think is hilarious is that Tammy Haddad and Torie Clarke went to the same high school.

The demonstrations at the Republican Convention CLEARLY shows the huge DIFFERENCE in the parties...REPUBLICANS can face differences and down right lies with DIGNITY....which is something that the LIBERAL NUT JOBS know nothing about....There are two classes of people, those who differ and respect the differences and the IDIOTS who think smashing windows and causing a beautiful city turn into the ghetto in the blink of an eye...I did NOT SEE one act of violence at the Demo..convention...I did see lots of CRIMES on the stage and on the podium....by Obama and his big mouth...DIGNITY is something these low lives have yet to learn about....WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, and to think these nuts represent Obama...YIKES.
    Just say NO TO O

So this was filmed one month before Ms. Palin gave birth??? Interesting.

  • Posted By: cafeameric @ 09/02/2008 6:55:48 PM

McCain likes beauty queens. Didn't he dump the wife who waited for him while he was a POW for a much younger, richer beauty queen? Now he's done the same thing to Joe Lieberman. Guess Bill Clinton isn't the only politico with a weakness for Bimbo's.

Why is experience an issue for Vice President but not for President? You are not good enough liars to justify this!

Why is experience an issue for Vice President but not for President? You are not good enough liars to explain this stupid position.

I say let the protestors in. Maybe then the Republicans can answer for what they have been doing to the country for eight years. It is amazing that they can smile and chear and ask for more with the condition of the country being what it is. They should be begging for our forgiveness.

    this video rocks!

    • Posted By: aad135 @ 07/16/2008 6:16:41 PM

I am completely offended by the content of this musical video and how it portrays the American election process. These little computer geeks should be caught and hung-up by their buster browns. Shame on you for thinking that this even remotely resembles humor. This music video is the most tasteless thing that I have viewed ever in my life. No wonder we are a joke to the rest of the world, because we allow this kind of humor to be aimed at the most sacred instituion of our country - free elections. I am going to contact my Congressman today to call for legislation to ban and condemn Jib-Jab for this outrageous, un-patriotic and vial act. At a time when our country needs to be brought together, things such as this only widens the divide of our citizens. NO MORE JIB-JAB! NO MORE JIB-JAB! NO MORE JIB-JAB!

      MCCAIN 2008 & 2012..!

      • Posted By: summer4077 @ 09/02/2008 12:50:16 PM

Are you serious? Free elections? Not until we get rid of the antiquated electoral college that allows a man who won the popular vote to lose the presidency...

All I see is John Coale going from one losing camp to another.

I???m trying to understand the push for telecom immunity. So the Chief Executive has the power to order private actors to break the law, and when he issues such an order, the private actors will be protected from liability of any kind on the ground that the Chief Executive told them to do it. Wasn???t this the very theory that the Nuremberg Trials rejected?

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/21/2008 9:32:13 AM

Yes. We just haven't been conquered yet, so they feel safe.

I am very leary of Mr.T.Boone Pickens. He is not a philanthropist for the people. My fear is that through "Eminent Domain"somehow land will be taken away fron average Americans who unfortunately live in the so called wind corridor. And wind energy will just become another sector for big business conglomerates. The wind energy belongs to the People and they should be given the opportunity to own it! He sees this just like the railroad barons did in the 1800's as a chance to completely soak the people for land, cash and a permanent revenue stream.

I am bothered, in the first place, by the promises being made by both men. I am bewildered that both men are making legislative promises.

???When I am president,??? each man says, ???I will ...??? Now correct me if I am wrong, that I might have missed something while I was busy getting old, but when I studied government in school, I think I remember that there were three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. For the purpose of this essay only, the judicial branch of government will be overlooked.

In an over-simplification of job descriptions, the president and cabinet are the executive part of the branch trio. The president should keep himself busy conferring with the cabinet and agencies, being commander in chief, setting policy, giving state dinners, making nice with other countries, declaring states of emergency, signing or vetoing legislation, etc. The legislative part of the trio (the representatives and senators) has as its job initiating legislation as needed for the good of the country and their constituents, serving on investigative committees, etc.

Now we get to my contention. Both Senator McCain and Senator Obama are expounding on what they will do as president while continuing to speak like legislators. What they are promising to do in the future as the executive is what they should be proposing now in their current positions as legislators.

Come on now, fellas, if you believe so strongly in what changes need to be made for the good of the country???s problems with the economy, the oil crisis, education and health care, why have you not been back in Washington rallying support in the Senate and writing bills which would begin the miraculous cures now that you are promising for the future? Both you senators remind me of poker players with your cards clutched to your chests. Both of you are bluffing that you have a straight flush, ace high, while holding nothing more than a pair of jacks.
Unfortunately, the other people sitting at the table are about to be taken. Their names are Americans and Voters. Come on now, fellas, if you plan to play this game, show us your cards. Lay them on the table. Show us how you plan to win the game. Show us a workable plan for the cures you are promising. If these plans are so good, why haven???t you been busy in the Senate doing what you are paid to do for the country? Why are you holding back? Is it all a bluff?

Up to this point in the election process, the only thing that has been shown to the voters is age and charisma, experience and inexperience, war hero and academic scholar, pedigree and boot strap climber. Show us some substance. As the commander in chief, how, I repeat, how will you act as leader to make your promises reality? I need to know before I vote; otherwise I will continue to be bothered and bewildered, but certainly not bewitched.
