On the Ron Paul video about Romney and Huckabee-
That was nice how Fineman had a very defensive 'yeah' and took what Ron Paul said out-of-context. And 'Punditocracy'? What about Democracy? Nice how he got it back on track.

Very telling interview - try to incite some kind of inflammatory statement when you do not get one to begin with. Ron Paul is honest - he tells you what the constitution allows us to do. On tax payment - its the current law, and its not a good one, so he sympathizes with those who rebel, but does not condone breaking the law. On guns, we have a right to defend ourselves. Local governments can decide what is offensive and should not be dealt with as an all or nothing question. On Israel, Should they exist - they do so it is a stupid question. Ron wants peace,, and points out that history tells us that UN forced decisions cause problems, On religion - he is disappointed it even comes up (Fineman wants to say he criticized Romney and Hucakbee) He simply said it should not be part of either candidate's required discussion. Get it straight - the big money corporate swindlers are afraid of Ron Paul and are ramping up the smear campaign - watch and see!

Thanks for the RP interview!! Ron Paul for prez 2008!!
Wow some airtime for Ron Paul, be care his ideas are contagious. This guy scares the heck out of the establishment. He might actually make some critical changes that will help turn this country around before its too late. Ron Paul is the only candidate that is not beholden to corporate interest, he is honest and trustworthy and will defend the Constitution. Ron Paul will put an end to the Bush Clinton dynasty. He is the only candidate everyone in the USA can vote for and feel good do so.

Idiamond proposes good questions and allforpaul makes a good point. Bottom line is that as poaul supporters we'd like to see his views given a bit more airtime as its the core of his candidacy. Whereas Giuliani runs on his record (no matter how overblown or flawed) Romney runs on his record (ditto) Huck on his religion, Ron Paul runs on his ideas. Political discourse is about ideas not sound bites. Mr. Fineman I'd love to see a more complete interview with Ron Paul where his so called "wacky" ideas are challenged and he can calmly defend himself. Decisions in the white house aren't made by soundbites but by careful reasoning. We need a president that thinks and can reason.
kind regards,

kind regards,
Fineman - Are you kidding me! Rather than try to lure Ron Paul in to talking about the other candidates, why don't you take a step out of the gutter and ask him some real questions. Let me hep you out with a few.
Can you please explain to the American people why the Federal Reserve Banking System is and why you want to abolish it?
How are you going to go about implementing some of the more difficult plans you propose, such as abolishing the income tax?
You advocate personal responsibility - How are you going to wean corporations off all the subsidies and individuals off the social programs they have become so dependent on?
Assuming you win the presidency, can you give the American people a sense of the kinds of people you will be surrounding yourself with. What will a Paul administration look like and are there any specific individuals that you would ask to join you?
One of the Bush administrations flaws was that there were no dissenting opinions in the administration that led to Group Think on many levels. Where would you source contradictory opinions? Would you bring in outsiders at various times or are there certain people you respect but disagree with that you would invite into the administration?
Dear Mr. Fineman,
Please tell me that you are actually going to ask Dr. Paul questions about real issues and not just how he feels about the other candidates (???Enough about you Dr. Paul, what do you think of McRomrudebee????). Don???t get me wrong, Dr. Paul???s common sense shines through when anyone allows him to answer a question. But you have a real opportunity here, to be the first interviewer to get Dr. Paul???s opinion on the recent Iran developments. I???m sure you???re aware that Dr. Paul has been the only candidate in the entire presidential field, republican or democrat, that saw the situation with any clarity, reminding all those war mongers that we had 40,000 nukes pointed at us during the Cold War and we used diplomacy instead of first strike options! He was right about the Iraq war (before it even started), he???s the only candidate that has the dollar on his radar and now Iran.
He???s the candidate the media has professed to be looking for since 2006: He doesn???t espouse party politics, he unites parties (did you know he came in 2nd place in a DEMOCRATIC straw poll in SFO? ??? Kucinich came in first, Hillary came in last ??? does that tell you what issue is making democrats tick?), he doesn???t take paid junkets, he doesn???t raise taxes, and nobody can touch his record on civil liberties.
It???s not every day America has the chance to vote for a Statesman. Who knows? Maybe, one day, your interview could be archived in Dr. Paul???s presidential archive as a turning point in the election.
Americans are on board. How late to the revolution do you want to be?

A Day in the Life
My son Embarrasses is always tripping out because I'm an activist --on many fronts--
I think it embarrasses him. Maybe when he's an adult, he'll realize that one's convictions are not held on one's tongue like a coward.
With respect, Haywood: you could not be more wrong. I am sorry for what you father experienced, but while my father was a man of fierce conviction, he was also a man of fierce compassion. He would never have spit on a soldier, or demeaned someone in any way.
He was a veteran of World War II, a field-decorated lieutenant and an artillery expert. He fought and killed in WWII, an experience that haunted him as it haunts all who fight in wars. It also gave him considerable empathy for those who-- by choice or draft-- where placed in the same position. So, my father was no spitter.
As for you other comments: I would like to see the same kind of introspection and self-criticism that my father displayed when he shared his regret for his rough treatment of the Catonsville secretary mirrored in the "leaders" of our country who rain death down on innocent civilians in the name of democracy and foment terror throughout the world in the name of countering terrorism.
I would like to see it too from those who send judgmental, ignorant screeds rife with mis-spelled through the internet. There was no irony nor **hypocrisy** in my father. He was not perfect, nor was he without regret-- but he earned the love and respect of soldiers and veterans, prison wardens, the Catholic hierarchy, members of Congress, the poor of Baltimore, the international peace community, his family and those who love a good Irish joke because he was untiringly committed to peace and justice, and he struggled to be nonviolent in a violent violent world.
Just finished watching the footage of Philip Berrigan apologizing and hoping that he hadn't injured anyone while breaking the law. A peace activist using physical violence to force people to submit to his will? Oh, sweet irony.....or should I say "hypocracy". Ms. Berrigan, I wonder if your Dad was one of the guys who spit on my Dad when he got off the plane from Viet Nam.

Being resident of Noth Western Frontier, bordering Pakistan with Afghanistan, and having 9 years experience of working journalsit. I would suggest to all reading this article seriously that first to understand that why and how people of this part of the world were trapped to start a war against human civilization and make efforts to push all of us again towards post stone age era. No doubt about the fact that fuel is being supplied by the locals to this international game. But at the same time, the situation is inviting us to look behind that curtain and identify the real actors of this game. This is just power game, it was started when Ben Laden family realized that they can not get government control in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I would suggest that this could be controlled, only when the world community in real sense come forward for the rescue of moderate Pakistanis

The human mind is unamaginally profound beyond our comprehension, ironic, isnt it. our.our brain is responsible for our very existence, and all the wonderful gualites of being alive,
And yet,yet we dont even begin to know or understand how it works, as karens example shows it can go in automatic mode to survive, the brains prime directive,.
this "automatic" intrigues me. What esle can it do without our conscious knowledge or control
are there realm of th brain we may know , it seems as wondrous as the univers to me,
