Comment: If the Spears were just a plain family in a small town in Louisiana, then these girls' behavior wouldn't be considered that unusual. It certainly wouldn't rate any news coverage, even in the local paper. It's only because of this country's obsession with bimbos and airheads that they get such ridiculous publicity. I can only suggest that all the people who think that either of the Spears girls has any real importtance should get a life.
The one thing that surprises me about this incident is that the right wingers aren't howling for her boy frined to be charged with staturatory rape. He is lucky he is white and doesn't live in Florida.

Comment: I was really being sarcastic in my first comment..Yes it is sad that this young girl is going to be a mom...And yes it happens all the time. But shouldnt WE as parents be a roll model for our children and not rely on television, and various types of media to raise our kids. My kids watch Hanna Montana, the Spears' and play those ignorant games that encourages prostitution and killing for more points, but its up to parents to teach the kids to respect themselves and others. I watched cartoons and and the like in the seventies and on, but im not dropping pianos on peoples heads and using Acme products to hunt down a road runner. A PARENT is first and for most the person responsible for how a child behaves in the future. Not a t.v. , a childless psychotherapist and some ritalin.

What was this girl thinking she should have concentrated on her career and schooling not on ruining it. Way to go whoops another spears did it again

Comment: So I understand the age of consent in Louisianna is 17. So the father is what? 18? 19? The state has no choice but to go after this one. I am not going to bash hwer for becoming pregnant. That mistake is also made by very intelligent people and gifted youngsters all the time. What we are all probably going to watch is what she does from here on with this. I find it sad that her childhood disappeared so very quickly. if she is able to make the transition from "show star" to "raising a child well" then I say the hell with the career and I wish her luck. Just don't seek advice from big sis.

Comment: ANother member of the Spears family pregnant and only 16?? Trying to outdo big sis in bizzarre behavior . Sounds like another season of Zoey 101 where Pacific coast academy students deal with Jaimies unrealistic demands, shaved head, loos of a great body and crying newborns. I think I hear another career falling into the Pacific ocean . Try and overcome this train wreck? She can become another fishnet wearing ho like big sis.
