Take this losers picture down already...Noone really cares about his dumb ass. Im sure enough killers out there seen his face enough to want to out do him to. Maybe if we DE-glorify these clowns by not showing there sick smiling mugs all the time, then crazies will be less motivated to get on the news.

A stronger screening process is a good idea, but would most likely only affect law-abiding citizens who purchase guns legally.

As you can see in at least 2 of the 9 massacre's, the shooters stole their guns. Most of the criminals who possess "weapons of mass destruction" aren't getting them legally, so they wouldn't miss out on their sick opportunities if we did have stricter screening processes.

I'm a firm believer that it's not the guns or purchasing of guns that is the problem. The problem lies in the people around these psycho's who didn't heed the warning signs that they were dangerous. Stronger school counseling programs could help if the children/young adults were made to attend on a regular basis.

Ideally the parents or families of these monsters need to be more aware and take action to control them. But, since apparently that is "impossible" for some families, the schools need to take the initiative to protect their students.

I must ask the question no one is willing to face? How and why do these psychopaths get their weapons of mass destruction? I own an automobile. When I bought my automobile, I had to register it with the DMB. I also needed to pass a written and a behind-the-wheel test in order to get a driver's license. I also need to take an eye test - in my case, I can drive only if I wear glasses. At regular intervals, I must take additional tests to get my license renewed. If I wish to drive a heavy commercial vehicle, I must pass additional exams and take additional courses. Why is it so unreasonable to insist on the same sort of registration procedures for guns - Just as I am required to take a eye exam at the DMV, so gun owners should submit to some sort of psychological screening to get a gun. These procedures would definitely save lives, but no one except for me seems to care.
