I think this shows that Hillary is both smart and tough. Obama may whine about this, but he wasn't even there to vote and Edwards is just a wimp, much like John Kerry. Clinton did the right thing and seemed hawkish, but with co-sponsoring this measure with Sen. Webb, who is loved by anti-war Democrats, she positions herself to be cautious and an incremental solver.
