Newsweek and Pelosi can't defeat us in congress, so you try tactics like fomenting trouble with Turkey about something that happened during the Ottoman Empire and attacking Blackwater with a story full of anonymous sources. Blackwater's biggest crime is being a vigorous, patriotic, private enterprise run by a Christian.

Seems like most everyone talking trash always seems to have an anonymous source.

Blackwater = Government charity for Bushies campaign donors... the whole idea of "outsorcing" in Iraq is nothing more than a boondoggle stuffing the pockets of Haliburton, Blackwater, et. al. These companies charge between $250k-$500k per head, per year, for the same jobs that GI's used to do... on a $7500 a year salary. Hey Pedro, just who is "us"? And by the way, Blackwater's biggest crime is being a war profiteer.

You are correct, These companies do charge between $250k- $500k per man. Most of those people make between $150-$250K per year. The companies also have to feed and house, buy insurance, equip and deploy these men. And Soldiers make well over $7500 per year. I took home $56000 per year when I retired (After Taxes) E-7 20 yrs. They are also giving some large bonuses to military members right now. Wish I had of got some while I was in. By the time everything is added up, and I mean everything, It cost more to send a Soldier or Marine than it does a contractor. Most people don't realise this because they only look at how much the man is making. Most of us working these contracts have extensive military training and a large portion of us are retired. We are still supporting our country and our military. The Government is still getting the benifit of our training and once again when all the numbers are added it still cost less to send a contractor. If it weren't for the contractors how long would a young man or woman have to be deployed to support the tempo? Most of the contractors I know and have met still have the utmost respect for members of the armed forces. Are there some Cowboys? Yes, you always have your 10% just like we did in the Military. Do your homework Dexter.

Another slanted story, The sidarms Blackwater carries has no safety. Its a Glock Your trigger finger is the safety.
They and other contractors who work for the state department have a red w on their embassy badge which means they are not required to clear their weapons.
