I am 46 years old and I have had both of my hips replaced due to arthritis. On Sunday I completed a half marathon walk (13 miles or 21 kilometers) in 3 hours. In May I completed a full marathon in 6 1/2 hours! I am a new person....these bionic hips have given me a new lease on life! I would do it all over again, and might have to if they don't last my lifetime, but it is all worth it.

Well God bless you all!! I had arthoscopy done on my shoulder 2 months and they gave me some computer image pics showing what they had done. Pretty impressive stuff their doing now.

I had a hip replacement three years ago. Yesterday i went to a yoga class (the teacher had two hip replacements, the last one eight months ago!), then i went to a spinning class for an hour, went to work and last night taught a three hour ballroom dance class. I couldn't have done any of it without the replacement. Pretty wonderful medical breakthrough!
