Wow! Someone is definately not montering the comments on this site! Cornholio might just be a wanted sex offender. Please check the registery. Anyhow, with regard to Paris Hilton, my response is.... who cares?
Rich girl. Party animal. Jailbird. America's No. 1 heir-head wants to get out of the bimbo business.

If Ms Hilton can, in some small way, connect with just a tiny portion of the humility that is needed to empathize with those less fortunate that herself she will have come a long way indeed.
She always looks so snotty. I'd like to slap her until she peed her panties, (or lack thereof).
She is hot! I would do he for free!
I don't know much about her and have actually watched the one interview with David Letterman where she was pouting all the time because he wouldn't let go of the jail subject. How old is she? She must be more than 25 and was acting like a 12 year old. She didn't have anything interesting to say, after that, everytime I see her on tv I switch channels, it is fascinating though how someone like that has so much clout... and that's why I read your article. It must be because she is attractive and so rich, a lot of girls want to be like that.

Paris was is one of the dumbest things this nation has ever witnessed. She's not even human any more. She has to pay poeple money to think for her because she lacks even that ability. And you wonder whats wrong with American children these days? Look at these breathing piles of filth; people called STARs.
Are you kidding newsweek? You wasted an entire spread on a racist, coke-sniffing slut??? She is so transparent. She'll be laughing to the bank when telling her friends about how poor those ni**ers are. She's despicable. Your editors should be ashamed for putting her in the issue to actually brainwash people to support her feeble attempt to justify her pathetic existence.
Are you kidding??? This manipulative, racist , coke-sniffing skank shouldn't even be in this magazine. She's so transparent it's sickening. I can see her laughing all the way to the bank at pathetically poor those ni**ers are! I can't believe you actually wasted a page in your magazine on this despicable person. I am seriously contemplating cancelling my subscription.
Paris. Good for you. Do whatever your heart desires to help poor people. Sure the USA is in need as well as the third world countries. As long as you help and let your Higher Power guide you, all will be well. Take care.
Without a brain implant it looks unlikey anything more substantive than her past is impossible.
Paris was very serious at a Summit in Mallorca,Spain. Im glad that she was there with a sincere heart. I wish you all could have been there to see. 2004 was the last report on EB, please help us again.National EB Awareness Week is October 21-27 2007. Have you ever tried to catch a butterfly? I think we all have at some point in our lives. Their wings, ever so delicat; how could something so fragile exist in the world? Carefully we hold them, but one wrong move and there is a tear in their wing. Imagine this were your child. Imagine a child so delicate and fragile that they need to be wrapped in bandages in order for you to hold them; in order fro them to survive in the world. How does a butterfly fly if it is wrapped in bandages? It doesn't. "Butterfly kids" don't fly either, they "sore", literally. They "sore" in the form of blisters, blisters that form over almost their entire bodies. Who are these kids yo may be wondering? These are kids that were born with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare genetic skin disorder in the skin comes off of blisters from the slightest distress. 1) Can???t resist pointing out the odd combination of stories in Newsweek.com???s Culture/Ideas ???Lightbox??? section today: The Paris ???heir-head??? story, followed by ???Who Will Replace the Architects of the Women???s Movement???? How about Paris? Or perhaps??? Nicole? LOL. "The longest journey begins with but a single step", ladies.
2) All is not forgiven, but the young woman has already successfully ???turned herself into an industry???, re-packaged herself, publicly laughed at/cringed at her own public personas, and has millions gawking at it all. Redirecting some of that toward greater good, if it happens??? stay tuned. And if you don???t like it, try changing the channel (several times) because we???re going to be hearing about Paris for a long time.
Ms Hilton is far from newsworthy. How sad for such a great publication to devote resources to something as trival as her acting talent or possible intelligence. Leave these trashy articles to People and Us.
Hey, "whywhat", the Subject Heading is "Culture"...yes, 'celebutantes' and would-be reformed celebutantes are, for better or worse part of our "culture", whether we like it or not. Nobody is making you read it,, are they?
I think it was dumb of Newsweek to write an article on Hilton! Why are you wasting your time on this?
Give the world a break Paris! ,I thought it was, a celebrity would "take a break", and THEN tell the rest of the world about it.
Give her a break and let her try to redeem herself. I'm not a big fan of hers but I do give people the chance for redemption. I've never been but I assume prison can grow someone up in a hurry.
