    yplese, perhaps you should look at yourself first with your use of passive voice ("there is also a pathetic.."), and overstatement: ("whatsoever"). Please!

    What is creepy is that Mrs. Clinton could never run for president without an agreement with her husband that no matter what he did, she would stick by him, and he would support her. The woman has known for decades that her husband fooled around, but her quest for the ultimate power was stronger than her sense of personal outrage.

    Is it me, or is there a crisis in the rapidly diminishing ability of our "press" to write anything meaningful? How are these people getting work when they have absolutely nothing of any interest to say? Who's paying to read this garbage? Hillary Clinton is a presidential candidate. Is there some reason why we can't be reading something that would actually be meaningful in relation to her ability to run our country? Oh, right, that might take work and involve reasearch on the part of the writer! The more you guys go on about Hillary's cleavage, her marriage, her hairdo and her weird laugh, the dumber and more afraid of powerful women YOU look. Please grow up and do your jobs. Or is Newsweek trying to become the next Enquirer?

      First of all, learn to spell if you want to have some credibility. Second of all, the Clintons are neither socialist nor are they communist. There is a difference-maybe you should learn about it. Secondly, it is corruption in some of the communist nations that led to socio-economic disparity, not the system itself. This corruption is actually very similar to the type of problems that you find in the current administration. It is my bet that you are in one of the lower income tax brackets, which would leave you unaffected by the tax increases that are government and country need to in order. In case you haven't noticed, we have a huge national debt which means that if the economy we to go into recession, the American people would be bearing the brunt of this debt. When are you people going to realize that taxes are absolutely necessary?? You get to live in this country with at least the illusion of freedom, drive on the highways, go to school, send your kids to school, have a military to protect you, have access to fire and police departments as well as a postal service, etc., etc., etc. You get what you pay for in this life, and quite frankly, I wouldn't mind pitching in 1 to 2 % more of my income to taxes in order to have guaranteed health care, the security that if something should happen to me I would not risk being bankrupt due to medical bills. This additional 1% to 2% of my income is far less than than the $400 per month that I currently pay for health coverage. The answer seems obvious...

    Mr. Darmon, How wonderful that all your relationships are so perfectly aligned. This piece of writing is a sad commentary on the supervicial state of politics today. I don't know if I can support Hillary Clinton, but this piece makes me feel as though I should. You must feel that those who read your stuff have no analytical abilities whatsoever. Life is far more complicated than the neat white and black boxes which you present. Drivel. This is simply intellectual drivel which shouldn't be in a major news magazine.

    Typical biased reporting. Why not expose her voting record so people can see what she stands for? Why not reveal her previous comments so people know her vision for America? Why not report on where she places the division between capitalism and socialism? The reason is because she does not represent what Americans want and liberal reporters try a fluff piece to hide it.

      I agree with you that they should ;put more substance in their reports, however, without that substance, how do you know if she represents what Americans want? The truth is these journal articles are too shallow and too short to give us any real information. Recent books on political topics and publications such as The Economist are much better reads if you really want information.

    Just try and visualize another 9/11 and the commande(ress) is trying to get the respect of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in coping with another terrorist attack here in the U.S. This woman who detested her secret service agents and whose husband and probably herself, loathes the military. What the heck would anybody with 1/2 a brain want to take achance with HRC? She can't throw an ashtray or lamp at the ememy and get them to surrender.

      Actually Hillary is on the Armed Services Committee in the Senate and would probably be very adept at dealing with a potential military deployment and related topics.

    Why does the article refer to Hillary as the 'first lady'? Why does it refer to Bill as the 'president'? Would it be more correct to refer to them as former? Is this article biased from the beginning?

      Actually, all former presidents and first ladies are greeted using their "former' titles-it is a formality and form of respect. Essentially they keep the title President for life. For example, Jimmy Carter is still greeted and referred to as President Carter as is President George H.W. Bush. It is incorrect to refer to them as former President Jimmy Carter and former President Bush, (although you will hear reporters doing this, probably to avoid confusion.

      All former presidents and first ladies keep their titles as a formality. It is not correct to call them former president or former first lady. George H.W. Bush is still greeted as President Bush, as is President Carter.

    What a silly unscientific piece oF junk this article is. No one has any idea what goes on in a marriage, even close friends. I am a marriage counselor and for this author and some of the posters that will make comments, it is plain to see that they are just hit artists. Frankly, the Clinton marriage is none of your business nor mine. Try and try but you will not be able to wreck it. And to post that comment about Chelsea IS TRULY HEARTLESS.ake these judgments when they have not even taken to time to fully assess the situation by long testing and interviews with the Clintons.
