    Unfortunately, moviemakers with the exception of the Duke and recently Mel Gibson have focused unfairly on the aspect of hopelessness and ineptitude in Viet Nam. Many, many soldiers from that era are angered that a large majority of the the movie-going public are and have only been exposed to those aspects and not often enough to the good that those soldiers tried to accomplish during a difficult time.
