I applaud you Psychicscopescom for speaking your truth. I too am a medium and intuitive counselor. And yes, it is possible to connect to those that have crossed over. The process can be very healing for those that are grieving. It is not the end of grieving or of the healing process, but it does help the family or individual to move forward knowing that Love and Life has no end. It is my opinion, when quoting the Bible, to remember that the black popes changed the text to conform to their lust for power and control. The "wise women" or witches, as they were called, were the healers and, pretty much, the heart of the spiritual community. The popes created lies about them and recently the Catholic Church has apologized for all the unjest actions. I could write pages about this but those who want truth need only search and they will find it. I am also a medium who has brought many people and messages from the other side and it always happened with healing and reassurance of a life after this one. They are alive and well over there - just in a different plane. It is not my intent to upset anyone - this is my belief system and it works for me.

I am a intuitive who works with those spirits who want to crossover, every week. I have helped millions of spirits crossover in the last few months.

Talking with spirits, to have them help you, etc., isn't a good idea. They don't know any more than you do, but this once your dead your dead. Isn't true. Reincarnation is the way,not long dead or forever dead.

I lived in a house with 3 ghosts for 2 years. Only one communicated and played tricks. And both my husband and collage age daughter were scared to death of them. I wasn't. I felt sorry for one, annoyed at another and had some great talks with the third. I remember her fondly. (And, no, she didn't actually talk back.)

"Indisputable evidence" that "communicating with the dead" is therapeutic? Please, please PLEASE cite the scientific study you've based this on, since communicating with the dead is physically impossible, one party being, well, dead. Since you have "Ph.D." behind your name, surely you're familiar with the notion of citing your sources, especially when making a claim as patently ludicrous as this.

Also, if you have any "indisputable evidence" that bending spoons with your mind or communicating telepathically with space aliens is therapeutic, please feel free to include it.

I can't believe Newsweek would even publish this. How can there be "indisputable evidence" that something that is physically impossible, i.e. communicating with the dead, is therapeutic. There IS indisputable evidence that communicating with the dead is a sign of schizophrenia, but therapeutic, sorry. Source for the scientific study that proved this "indisputable evidence?" The idea that we are spiritual beings is taboo these days, in some circles. I'm glad you were not afraid of atheists and so referred to our most historical and reliable document on the subject, the books in the Bible. For people to think about being a spiritual creature having a 'soul', where they come from, where they are going, is key to an individual's world view and key to an individual's destiny and spiritual health.
That we didn't create humans nor the laws of physics, means that individuals cannot make up truths of their own about this and must look outside of ourselves for factual evidence. Merely wanting or not-wanting it to be so, doesn't make it so. Thank you for looking in to this side of our health and wellbeing.
