Er, good citizens wearing bikini's halfway up their ass and leather jackets is not reform in my book. Maybe it's good for the male wardens but these women are not victims of society. That mindset is what keeps women down. Move out of victim to survivor mode please. These are not survival skills. These are re-offender skills being taught here. My sense of "social care" hopes they learn to cover it up and lead honest lives. How does wearing makeup and bathing suits teach them to be socially caring? Caring about giving men what they want you mean?

Yep. I'm just glad I didn't see any American inmates up there or I would have writing my legislature on how our tax dollars are being spent. Make them work hard and teach them a trade that won't land them back in the slammer for heaven's sake but this is so incredibly DUMB and such a waste.

I'm sorry but I think this is awful... To reward prostitues, murders, druggies, etc... of their crimes by allowing them to get "dolled up" and party... What kind of message is that sending to younger women?? That its ok to wh*re yourself out cuz eve if you get caught, you can always party it up in prison??? Really?? "PUNTO" what if one of these women killed your family member?? Would you still feel the same if you saw them having fun? I'm sorry but no. This makes me disgusted...

I'm sorry but I don't think murders, prostitutes, druggies, etc... should be allowed to "party" and get "dolled up". All that does is show younger women that it's ok to do crimes and go to prison... you can still have fun. Punto if one of these women were to kill your family, would you want to see them as a beauty pagaent queen?? Sorry, this just makes me absolutely sick.

Regardless of what they,ve done and of whatever they,ve been guilty of , the contest is new and worthy of consideration as it may add life and happiness to these women who many of them are surely victims of society.
The contest also would add to them a sense of social care and it may also inspire them to be good citizens after they are out of prison.
