This is the most unfortunate article by your magazine. The views mentioned in the article are coming at the most unfortunate time.
Pakistan???s mistake is that it has always supported US administration. In creating Taliban, In fighting your Soviet/Afghan war and now fighting al-Qaida after the fall of Taliban.
Why did the US leave Afghanistan after the end of Afghan war?
Why did US leave Afghanistan after toppling Taliban?
We are suffering because we stand with the US.
You should be ashamed of pointing fingers at Pakistan ignoring historical perspectives.
This article will certainly increase your print sales but again like before at a great cost to Pakistan.
It's easy to point fingers with out providing an ounce of evidence or solution.

Pakistan is for terrorism what Harvard University is for post grad studies. The socio-economic and religious condition in Pakistan makes it a perfect incubator of terrorism. The factors contributing to Jihad and terrorism in Pakistan are islamic fanaticism, un-controlled growth of population, poverty and intense hatred of the U. S and the western world. Unfortunately U. S foriegn policy in the mid-east and its unconditional support of Israel has helped create this situation. Unless there is a Marshall Plan like massive developmental effort by the west to educate and uplift the living condition in poor muslim countries this is going to be a generational conflict between the west and the Islamic Jihadists. posted by Irshad Daniel Rahman, New Orleans

i would take it as nothing more than another attempt to black list Pakistan. Pakistan's only fault is that it is the only Islamic state with a nuclear power. Why dont all these "gaurdian of peace" look at other country's like Israel, which has been taken the whole of the middleeast for ranson with the help of their allies. For God sake stop this bame game and have a serious look at your policies towards the muslim world.. .100s of people are dying is Iraq and Afghanistan every day and the whole western world is worried about Pakistan...

I seriously don't doubt on this. PAKISTAN is indeed the most dangerous country in the world. Security issues are always on rise for anyone. Those who deny this fact are talking in the favor of the country may be because they are too much patriotic. But the no one can and should not ignore the ground reality that Pakistan has given birth numerous terror groups. Pakistan has put the lives of it's people at risk by being part of the war on terror. In Pakistan today people are killing each other. This is not WAR ON TERROR.. rather it is SELF WAR ON TERROR.

i suppose ur magazine simply blamed at Pakistan's fight against terrorism. you mentioned Taliban,s leader comments as Pakistan a supporter for terrorism but ognored pakistan's efforts that recently performed against terrorism. it is totally bseless and seems an effort to exploit Pakistan's impression, as not Iran neither Iraq , nor South Korea but only Pakistan fighting against all terrorist's Agencies. As a piece of Reality Terrorists have invaded in almost every country of the world but it doesn't mean that your magazine make it a main page heading and spread this issue ,then such events of every country should be international issue , thn why only Pakistan's events are spreaded in such wrong manner. we dont expect such a reputable magazine to publish such baseless statement without proves and only due to comments of some terrorist's agency leader. you should apologise for such statement that will simply spread prejudise among nation as well as international readers.

This is NEWSWEEK'S propoganda and an example of YELLOW JOURNALISM. You are only fanning the drum beat to war against Pakistan by publishing this false story. The Democrats in Congress want an American presence in Pakistan and they will compell the next President who I believe will be a Democrat to order the American troops into Pakistan.

The 160 million Pakistanis are watching this very closely and they are ever ready to protect the soveirgnity of its territory. So stop spewing hatred among Americans for Pakistanis.

And no American soldier can be allowed to tread even an inch inside Pakistan. There are a few thousand extremists and that is Pakistan's internal problem and the military is doing a fine job in combatting them.

As to the references in the piece that going to Mosque, or reading the Holy Book is somewhat develish, I recommend you tell your felllow citizens to stop going to Church or reading the Bible. How would that sound?

You are fanning a nuclear war here.
