    There is no other way for pakistan exept to confront this issue and resolv it with national unity.after benazir comes to power as it lokks like she should impose partial martail law with force and will to eradicate this trouble from root and doing a graet favor to rest of the worl as it is scared and wearyof these fanatics who are not being brought under control In tribal reas and places like swat and whereever they seem appropriate until this problem is rooted out .They should coordinate with americans and nato ,trusting and getting help from allies will be very important. They can assisst them in all the counterterrorst operations. Government should also focuss o n ational unity and ask its leaders and other famous people in pakistanto openly critiscize and develop national consensus on this very problem which is taking pakistan a 1000 years back from the rest of the world.

    ???I have seen General Musharraf in ???action??? during the 1965 and 1971 wars. I watched him from close quarters. To me he came across as a coward; corrupt; and a man of mediocre intelligence,??? says Babar, the soldier who won the highest award in courage.

    And President Bush wants this coward to fight the taliban and al-qaeda.

    The pakisatani soldiers have followed in their cowardly General's footsteps and 300 of the elite pakisatani troops have surrendered to just 20 lightly armed talibani fighters.

    The Cobra helicopters which are being provided free of cost to Pakisatan in the name of 'War on Terror' are useless when the men who are flying them don't have the guts to fire on their fellow jehadis brothers and sisters.

    The motto of Pakisatani Army is ??? Iman, Taqwa, Jihad fi Sabilillah ??? (Faith, Piety and Jihad in the way of Allah).

    And Bush wants the Pakisatani jehadi army to fight against fellow jihadis?

    iin my view the only argumentputforth in this articlethat attempts to substantiate the argument that pakistan is the most dangerous place is the emphasis on the absence of nato forces inside pakistan.obviously as a soveraign state pakistan cannot allow this to happen.t

    Why Pakisatan is the Most Dangerous Terrorist State?

    For the reasons stated below.

    1)The poweful 'State-within-the-State" ISI which supports Islamic jihad

    2)The indoctrinated Army officers both serving and retired leading to a close

    linkage between the regular Army and the terrorist organizations

    3)The Pakistani State encouragement to the large number of foreign extremist

    and fundamentalist elements training and planning for worldwide terrorist

    activities

    4)The presence of militias of Uzbeks, Chechens, Turkmens, Tajiks, Uighurs,

    Indonesians, Egyptians, Sudanese, African and Arabs who have all cut deals with

    the tribes of NWFP for protection, hospitality and support

    5)The lawlessness of the FATA

    6)The fierce streak of independence of the various Balochi nationalist tribes and

    their tribalism

    7)The fractious Afghan warlords and their tribes along the porous Durand Line

    with clannish linkages with Pakistan

    8)The huge cache of funds and leftover arms from the Afghan campaign

    9)Increasing poverty, an opium industry patronized by the Taleban, Al-Qaeda and

    the ISI as an easy source of funding for procuring arms and promoting terrorist

    activities

    10)The spiralling madrassahs generously supported by fundamentalist charity

    organizations from the Middle East

    11)The capitulation of the Government to the increasing Talibanized appraoch of

    these madrassahs

    12)Indoctrination of young minds even in mainstream non-madrassah schools as

    a state policy

    13)The fratricidal sectarian wars between Sunnis and Shias on the one hand and

    mohajirs (??migr??s from India at the time of Partition) and natives on the other,

    The intra-sectarian conflicts among Sunni Wahhabis, Berelvis and Deobandis,
    The deep ethnic fault-lines among the Punjabis, Sindhis, Balochis an Pashtuns,

    The well-patronized terrorist organizations like
    JeM(Jaish-e-Mohammed)-- Oragnisation which killed American reporter Daniel

    Pearl.
    LeT(Laskhar-e-Tayyaba)--Members convicted in US for waging jehad.
    LeJ (Lashkar-e-Jhangvi),
    SM (Sipah-Mohammed)-- Terrorists who call Shias as corpse eaters and kill

    Shias in Pakistan.
    HUM (Harkat-ul-Mujahideen),
    HUJI (Harkat-ul-Jihad-Al-Islami),
    HuT (Hizb-ul-Tahrir),
    TNSM (Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi),

    HMA(Harkat-ul-Mujahideen-al-Aalmi) etc.

    14)The collective hatred against the Americans, Jews and the Hindus (the

    Yahud-Hunud-Nasara conspiracy theory

    15)Above all the State policy to use terror as a weapon against India and

    Afghanistan.


    Pakisatan is shame to the Muslim Ummah.

    The Saudi government should use it's influence on other muslim countries to
    declare Pakisatani terrorists as Non-Muslims.

    These Pakisatanis are giving Islam a bad name. Islam is a religion of peace only.

    Your claim about MOST DANGEROUS NATION OF THE WORLD is totally baseless and incorrect not supported with analytical analysis and also without considering Crime rate of all the countries. It is a clear fact that the crime rate of the America is on the top list. Ignorance of history and adoption of policies by US led coalition in the Pukhtoon belt area either locating in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iran created such situation for which Pakistan and its nation is effected badly. I recall your memory, when English people run over to the United India during 1800, these Pukhtoon people did not accept the domination of English people while the rest of the India they governed without any harm. It is a built in life style from the God to the Pukhtoon people who never accept domination of any other people on them. History is witness.

    Policies designed by US led coalition totally failed to control over the political situations either in Pakistan or any part of the world. Blaming whole nation as most dangerous one in the world as not more than 100K people of a particular area are involved to these activities. I offer you and your team to visit Pakistan on my expenses to witness the liberalized understandings of the 95% peoples of country. During last week American Ambassador to Pakistan visited Karachi but she completed her visit without any harm or threat. In Islamabad, I personally visit a number of times witnessed that the foreigners visiting shopping centers, food streets etc frequently in day and night without any fear.

    Your comments are co-related with American policies which are not fair. I am fearing if American policies continues shall cause to end the world. American nation is undoubtfully great who work for progress of the human being in all field of the life but the persons handling the government affairs are quite dangerous for the world because of their ill designed policies. Such comments if offered from an illiterate group might be ignored. But in your case, it is not ignorable but you should have to justify your allegations. This issue needs a great debate but I like to end by saying that you and your organization is most dangerous group of the world.

    I think the past few year have shown who the real aggressor is....the US is the most dangerous country on earth. The Pakistanis have not occupied, killed maimed hundreds of thosands of people and neither are they planning to attack anyone. They are trying their best to correct the past mistakes in view of the difficult domestic situation and need moral and material help of the west rather than accusatory fingerpointing that is likely to accomplish little.

Let's show the world what Pakistan is really made out of - how we all condemn terrorism and how we're a peaceful nation. Unite for the sake of our beloved country! Without Pakistan, America couldn't have done much...and this is how it rewards it - "failed state, terrorist state, most dangerous nation." It will never show the true side of Pakistan, how Pakistani people are so moderate and peace-loving. It will never show the real image of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar etc. Pakistan is doing all it can. Pakistan is a POOR nation! You can't expect it to do something like America would.
    Pakistan has done more than enough, more than its share.

    Shahid: Old chap- we don't do terrorism. That is your preserve, as the article in Nesweek so eloquently describes, and as is believed by most of the world. Karzai is pissed with you guys for fomenting terrorism in Afghanistan. He was weeping openly and the world is touched..Afghanistan needs a lot of development assistance- they probably need more than 30 Indian consulates..

    come on stop calling everyone a terrorist and don't amalgamate political and religious isseues with terrorism.Furthermore if a peace hungry nation is fighting for its survival against this menace with its meger resourses give him some time to counter these internal issues and lets not underestimate credibility of pakistan army which had its last exposure to such threat in 1972.Now nuclear issue,give me a break recent victims of WMD(Iraq) is enough for every one to be careful where innocent civilians are victimized by security officials and terrorists both. (Blackwater security company record reveals that in 90% firefights their agents opened up first,how can a force which is responsible for protecting VIP's manage such a high ratio of initiating fire out of our poor imagination).Bottom line is please assist them to overcome this don't kill their will to fight.

    I read above mentioned article and can not believe that i am living in such a dangerous Country. As i lived in UK for sometime and have so many white friends. They have visited Pakistan and never had any concerns over security issues. Some of them are even interested to invest here.
    If you are trying to give refrence of recent political situation in Pakistan so i think thats not a wise thing to do. I think you have only seen a wrong picture of Pakistan or may be you have not had a chance to actually come down to Pakistan and walk around on the streets, you would be so shocked to see that peoples of Pakistan are so friendly and they really respect their guests regardless of their race or colour.
    We seriously condemn suicide atatcks or killing innocent people. I have never seen a person in Pakistan who supports these sort of acts. Our religion does not allow us to kill innocent people and a real muslim would never do that.
    As far as Pakistani politics concerns, it has never been an easy job. We have seen Death penalty of an elected Prime Minister Mr Zulifqar Ali Bhutto, we have seen suspicious plance carsh of former President of Pakistan Gen Zia Ul Haque and few other deadly incidents over the past few decades. There are personal grudges among politcians and sometime it cost them their life. It is not only in Pakistan, i am sure we have not forgotton the couple of deaths of Gandhi family in India.
    Pakistan is a moderate Country as well as an Islamic Country, We do believe in tolrence and patience and thast what our religion teaches us. We all believe that this world is so beatiful and their is no need to draw the boundaries among the peoples.
    If we are going to write an article about an issue which is very sensitive, we should not rush and wait for the investigations because (for your kind information) Police said that there is no strong and clear evidence of suicide attack and investigations are on their way so we should not jump to conclusion and try to spoil the image of Pakistan because one can get wrong idea about our Country. There is no Al-Qaeda or Taliban presence in Pakistan and its nothing more than rumours.

    Why we blame only one country Pakistan ?, Don't compare Pakistan VS Irar Afghnistan, becuase in In Iraq/Afghanistan , sucide bombing in routine once a day, but in Pakistan it is once a while, every country facing problems with this kind o, whats happened here in USA, in VTech shooting or in other school shooting, who they are ?
