pakistanis are considered as most welcoming nation in the world.we never heared of terrorism before 9/11 unless we announced the partnership with America in war against terrorism.therefore we are not terrorist but a victim of Americas problem.this iarticle is totally rubbish because it does not shows any proof of this statement , any comparisons made between pakistan and Iraq, any reprots supporting facts such as wold bank etc.its just a personal liking and disliking issue being addressed by the ordinary person who does not deserve to be a writer at internatiopnal level./

I think news week should also spend some time to tell the readers, a brief history of Talabans and how Donald Reagen gave a "Head of a State" Protocol to Hikmat Yar (the then Chief of Talabans). Also, they should tell the readers that in 1979 Jimmy Carter assured the Military regime in Pakistan that if they support US the government will pay 400million US$ to PakPakistan.

well i'll just say that writer has not worked on this article.we all know that the situation is critical fo Pakistan coz Benazir hs arrived out of nowhere n Musharraf's hands r tied coz of america. but situation related to jihadis is not as critical as writer has explained. this article is trying to give a few islamic names with the title of 'exremists' and accounting the life they live in Pakistan , no known facts are given and political opinions are not based on such small facts. every day a few britains are killed through street crime that doesn't mean it is the 'unsafest place ' in the world. What is the American army doing in afghanistan if all the taliban leaders are here in Pakistan welli its sems from ths article they 're just chasing them and not stopping them. How could you compare Iraq with Pakistan? And in my personal opinion it is not a comparison. It is propaganda against Pakistani nation. Before writing this false story did you think about the effort of Pakistan's army which they have put and continuously putting to help US in its war against terrorism? This article is totally baseless and with no supporting evidence. I am greatly surprised to read the heading of the article the authors without having any statistical data or comparison have compared Pakistan with Iraq. US and its policies are the biggest terrorists all over the globe. The authors are commenting on Islam without even knowing what it really is, its a complete law in itself and it stands for peace for all. It never asks for suicide bombings or killings. Who does not know that Taliban is the creation of US itself to fight against Russia, They themselves are the ones who armed and strenghthened them to fight against USSR from US side. 9/11 is the biggest blame on Taliban Islamic militants, they can never master scheme such a big and huge plan, its the jews and US who are behind it. The people living along the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan can only be termed "Traditionalists" rather than Islamists. Their ideology is same as was 200 years back. That ideology in very rare cases matches with that of Islam's and in most of the cases matches with what their forefathers have been doing; "With no concious connection to Islam "
The ONLY real reason of being traditionalists, in this era of Modernization, is lack of basic necessasities of life, there. If opportunities of education, jobs and health alongwith a good living standard is provided for atleast one generation:"Free of cost", only then one can hope to bring change. This change can never occur by pounding bombs on innocent people in Waziristan. Musharraf should be aware of the fact that these Traditionalists have their folk-lore knitted around stories of winning battles against Alexander the Great, .. Great Britain, USSR and so on.
