Pakistan was made into a dangerous country courtesy of the United States. All of the freedom fighters during the Soviet era ended up setting camp in Pakistan. Now they operate in Pakistan courtesy of the Pakistan army. Musharaff puts on an excellent show in trying to convice the world that he is fightig the extremists and is bringing back democracy.

Al Qaeda is organized crime, hiding behind the skirts of 'jihad'. They are thu8gs, bullies, drug traffickers, and humans slavers. 'Jihad' is just an excuse for lawless, amoral, self-indulgent behavior by murderous thugs who will gladly use disadvantaged, ignornant people to enrich themselves. Whatever this 'jihad' is about, social justice is the furthest thing from the minds of those who sponsor it.

Terrorism is a threat to the whole world including Pakistan. Since Pakistan has more that 1000km border with Afganishtan (which is the home of Taliban,) the Taliban terrorists can easily infilterate into Pakistan. Pakistan is a home of 160 million democracy and peace loving people and that is why open minded Political leaders are so very much popular in Pakistan. its interesting that without any investigation we already know who this the blast in Pakistan during bhutto's procession. could it not be Musharraf himself.. or MQM. as bhutto has killed hundreds of mqm workers when she was prime minister. and if this was a suicide attack then howcome the bomber didnt struck bhuttos truck/bus itself. I think govt. is hiding the real story. there should be throught investgation. mr. hirsch knows everything in advance seems like. no investigation no nothing... whoa...

The real objective was to invade Afghanistan and then dismantle Pakistan into pieces and divide it between people who are power hungry and would do anything for it. We've seen America succeeding in the plans except from minor glitches. The only thing neo-cons fear is the concept of JIHAD and they are determined to eradicate it by intalling so called moderate people, and by errupting elements which are causing this cloud of terrorism to rise, which obviosuly is the production of CIA. America's current objective is to dismantle Pakistan into pieces and gain access so that it can in future monitor INDIA and more importantly CHINA and have more powerful influence in the central asian countries.

I would suggest that all people stop relying on middleeastern oil until things mellow out.

I think the past few year have shown who the real aggressor is....the US is the most dangerous country on earth. The Pakistanis have not occupied, killed maimed hundreds of thosands of people and neither are they planning to attack anyone. They are trying their best to correct the past mistakes in view of the difficult domestic situation and need moral and material help of the west rather than accusatory fingerpointing that is likely to accomplish little.

It's unfortunate but the US does have to support bad nations at this time in history. This is because there is no buffer zone with the oil situation. If one major oil producing country has trouble you can bet all hell will break loose with the US economy(you think the housing situation is bad?). where te jihadi lives now is the wonderfull heading of the article , the authors have put a research work on the jihadis, living and thrving in the frontieir province of pakistan, but they forgot to write the place of roigin of these jehadis, they were made in and born in america, kept and nurtured in afghanistan( used against russian as herose of afhagnistan) trained in pakistan and being exported back to america, you reap as you sow.
