You sound like you have nothing better to write than to judge against poetry. I don't know what poetry ever did to you except make you study a think on a bit of it in your youth. I take umbrage as your attempt to bury poetry and all who attemtp to write it and enjoy it, giving it its last rights.

My recent verse begins:

"There's so much to do at seventy-two
please Time, be a friend and let's do it."

It's not done until the fat poets write their last verse.
Get over it.
