I used to like President Bush. But now I just wish that we would be impeached and we could just speed the 2008 elections up. He and Cheney are no good. You remember that song, "I'm proud to be an American", well I definitely don't feel that way right now. I love what this country used to stand for, but now our world image is so horrible I am disgusted with our leaders. I just want to pack it all up and move to Australia. Who hates The Aussies? No one!

molyneux - yes I have studied Iran and it's politics. Their weak military is why they are courting Russia and China - and Hugo Chavez. They are looking for allies to prop up their ground fight. Russia is falling for it over greed and oil.

I agree with Doc Becker - the proble with a Nulcear Iran is this: Radical Ismalic philosophy dictates that death while inflicting destruction on Infidels is values higher than life on earth. If they get a weapon (which I think is closer than we are being led to beleive) they will use it, share technology with other radical Jihadists and kill all they can.

The Koran is VERY clear on this objective - convert the world, or kill those who oppose conversion. I too beleived (in my early 20's) that Islam was peaceful. Then I took a Grad course on comparative religions and read the Koran. Mohammed was a terrorist and a murdering liar. I for one will never submit to the political correctness movement. Tell the truth - radical Islam wants to destroy ANYONE who disagrees.

Russia may help Iran now - for greed over oil. But, if the Islamic militants beat the West, Russia will be next in line for destruction. Iran wants Russia to oppose us for their power. Not for long term friendship.

The government of Iran is what is needed to be taking out. If America is to invade Iran it should be done by the air. America should use its larger airforce to destroy Irans offensive capabilities and nuclear plants as well as that nutcase President and never send troops into Iran. Even to provide aid. Its obvoise Iraqis do not want our help so we should not risk soldiers to help people wthat will only kills us in Iran.
The only way a World war can start is if Putin, another nutcase, tries to defend Iran for his anti-American reasons. And Iran is a threat to the US. Or do you ignorant poeple forget about the US troops in Iraq that are killed because of Iranian weapons that were giving to the insurgents?
I do not know why anybody in their right mind would support Iran. I bet people do it to find another reason to hate the US and to support its enemies. I'm fed up with you anti-Americans. You spread so much hate. Your kinds ignorance is what caused 9/11. Not Americas. America and Americans does not want to be like anyone else. We want to be different so the rest of the world hates us. Its been the same for over 200 years. You don't like our views so you call us ignorant nad hate us. And so you find reasons to hate us. You have more hate torwards America's war in Iraq than you do the terrorists. The terrorists are the murders yet you continue to fuel their cause with hate against the US. You only look at what we have done wrong, not what we have done right or tried to done right. Do you know why Americans are STILLin Iraq? To stablaize the country and bring peace. Only and ignorant person would think otherwise. You want us to leave iraq? Ok we will and we'll let a full scale Civil War to start and let the extremists take command. you act as if the Bush administration is the worst in history. Get rid of your anti-conservative/American biases will you already. The US has had far more worse Presidents in its history.
In conclusion the would would be a much better place without the Iranian government, North Korea, and Hugo Chavez. Further more, stop your blind hatred torwards the US and its President. The only thing your doing is fueling the cuases of Bin Laden. Stop supporting the most ignorant administraion on earth, Irans, just because Iran is Americas enemy. And before you stereotype me, I'm not a Republican or Conservative. I'm a moderate.

Without ANY doubt, an Iran with nuclear weapons is an Iranian Adminstration that will use them - period. With Russia softening towards Iran (the enemy of my enemy is my friend) and China in the mix as well - over the Iranian oil, this is a situation that needs to be contained and stopped. Iran must NOT have nuclear weapons.

Get real, people! Too many Americans view Iran as nothing more than an annoyance. This is a despotic, rogue nation who will, if unstopped, bring about WWIII. All it takes for evil to survive is for good people to do nothing. Or, perhaps some of you also believe that by bringing about a nuclear confrontation, Iran will effectively usher in the Twelfth IMAM and bring about world peace instead of the true Savior of the world, Jesus Christ?

With Mahmoud Ahmadinejad saying things like "we don't have homosexuals in Iran" and he's anti-Isreal comments, I can't help but think this is an irrational regime hellbent on it's own destruction, blinded by its faith.

Once again, people: World wars are always won by the LAST guy in, never the first. By the guy who sits patiently on the sidelines while the other guys chew up their men, money, machinery, and morale. That is the real "logic" of world wars. The logic of real-world, real-time, cold-blooded calculation; of Wilson and FDR in the 20th century, and of the Russians and Chinese in the 21st. The only thing nukes change about that equation is to insert the strong probability, once the US or anybody else starts shootin' 'em off, that there will be NO winner of World War III -- just planetary annihilation.

Extremist militant Islam comes from the Sunni Wahabis of Saudi Arabia (where most Iraqi insurgent money comes from). So why do we want to attack an Iran that is already on the road to democracy and support a reactionary monarchy in Saudi Arabia? Shia Iran has nothing to do with Sunni Al Qaeda. Are we fighting our enemies or Israels enemies? The Bush administration has already shown its deep ignorance of geo-politics. What makes anyone think that they have finally awakened? Bush will atack Iran before he leaves office regardless of the price because he still belives in the 1% solution and that it is his calling to strike down the evil doers.
