Britney’s Latest Is (Gulp) Good

Good for Newsweek. If we spent more time on Britney/Paris/otherslut "news" and less time reading about taxes , immoral wars, and who's going to be the next leader of the free world, we'd all be a lot happier. Keep giving us the REAL news, NEWSweek, and cut back on economics and politics.

I am sick of hearing all her garbage. I don't want to hear about her drug test nor her divorce nor whose car she hit in a parking lot. Leave that poor girl alone...

Ha! Define talent? I think that people are so focused on her talent or lack there of that they forget for every bottom dwelling celebrity there is a really talented person trying to make it. I say give someone else a shot. Let her get the help she needs and come back when she is ready! I do not want my daughters 16 and 19 thinking she is talented! Now the vocalist at our church is talented. She has a beautiful voice.
You don???t see her getting drunk and messing up her life because she is not a superstar.

Britney, and even Whitney Huston has abused their talent and in my opinion they need to step up and be strong, empowering women they were meant to be.

There is something mentally wrong with britney and the fact that it is being overlooked and she is not on a locked mental unit because she is a celebrity is outrageous. any other nutbag who did these things in public would be locked up quicker than britneys switch to manic

I don't know if anyone has actually listened to Britney, but her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Talented? Can we reserve that for someone who can actually sing without having to lipsinc on national television?

Also, let's think about how many girls started dressing like her and wanting to be like her when she wasn't in a downward spiral in her personal life. How many people has she actually done good? We all know her children are suffering because mommy's gone crazy.

I am not a fan of Britney Spears but I admire her nonetheless. We are in a period of hateful, almost assasin like demantling of people that doesn't even register like a true opinion - it's character assasination. Look at yourself when you get divorced and gain a few pounds - see who gives a rat's ass about you before you open your mouth.

I personally jsut don't see why everyone cares so much about a person with so little talent. Does she do society any good by wearing proctically nothing while lip-syncing words while trying to dance. I just don't see why anyone could really care about her at all. Does she make that world a better place to live in, no, does she use her massive loads of money to do good in the world, no! she just buys more thousand dollar jeans and t-shirts and goes on with her life. it's pathetic to see how people can actually try to rationalize what she is doing. I don't care if she is beautiful, she's a bad mother and a bad role model for the thousdands of young women out there that idolize her. It's just really sad to see how society and the media are so fixed on every aspect of her life

I think it's funny how america can "dis" a beautiful and talented young person like Ms. Spears. She is sensational and I can still remember the first time I laid eyes upon the beauty. We all hit bumps in our life and not everyone is perfect. I think the best is yet to come and I will gladly become husband number 3.

What has she contributed to society in any way other than as a trainwreck the system is set up to do to these "team" created dunderheads: It's designed to watch them rise and implode because they never had anything of their own talent to begin with. Shaking your crotch and cooing about the world on the level of 16-year-old isn't talent people. Stop this false debate about the importance of reality shows and characters on lame shows like Grey's Anatomy. In the words of the immortal Bill Hicks: If you are in advertising or marketing, kill yourselves now. There's no joke, no punchline. Kill yourselves. You contribute nothing to this world and you are killing the rest of us with your bile. Suck a tailpipe.
I'm telling you people, P.T. Barnum was right! We're about to go to war in Iran. The Constitution is being torn to shreds and all you corporate dunces in the media do is feed is Iggy the Dog stories, O.J. and Britney Spears. There are very few journalists out there anymore. Talent? When was the last time you actually saw Britney sinng and not screw up the lip syncing? This girl hasn't had any talent in many, many years. She should be glad she is in the tabloids. It's the only hope she has to remain valid and sale crappy albums.

Honestly, leave the girl alone already. Millions of people go through the same things she is going through everyday. So, she is in the public eye, she still continues to make the music that sells and keeps her going. Focus on more important things going on in the world. I am so tired of seeing Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton as headline news on CNN and the bottom script running news about the war or what is going on in the world. Get over it people...Oh and just for the 411, at the MTV VMA awards, Britney's heel was broken. Attempt dancing in a broken heel and let me know how it goes.

I think she has made lots of bad personal moves but there is no doubt that she is a very talented singer. The media need to give her a break, everyone makes mistakes and I think she'll be alright.
