I tend to agree with Leodelaney regarding al Qaida being blamed for everything from Aids to canker sores. I wonder too, that every time we hear about a terrorist he is accused of being a top level member of al Quaida. How many levels are there? How many members? Not all terrorist are al Qaida but all al Qaida are terrorist. We just want honesty is all.

The terrorists would leave us alone if we stopped supporting Israel?? Not a chance! They see the U.S. as the Great Satan and would love nothing more than to bring us down.
That said I am very tired of being expected to live in fear and see "Islamofascists" behind every rock and tree. These people do not have the power neccesary to take on the U.S. as a whole so they resort to terror tactics; we are letting them win every time we give up some freedom because the government says we need to, we are letting them win every time we vote based on fear instead of knowledge. This was once a great and respected country but Bush and his gang have turned us into a nation of cotizens living in fear and dispised by the rest of the world.

do we really 'know' he's guilty?

i really wish we'd stop buying israel tanks and bombs... these terrorists would leave us alone if we'd stop supporting the insanity that is the power struggle for the 'holy' land.

What I wonder is why we are always involving al Qaida in everything that happens from jaywalking through patriots trying to drive an invader form their soil to great and small terrorists attacks? Everything that is done is mentioned as an "al Qaida" plot. Yet al Qaida as an organnization or a belief is completely unnecessary to the actions. I would venture that if you were to tell 100 of those fighting against the US in Iraq that they were members of al Qaida, 98 of them would say that's the first they heard of it. And we are forever capturing al Qaida number twos; apparently the organization has no number ones and no lower numbers than number two. But they have a lot of those. As short a time as 2000 al Qaida was extimated to have about 2000 followers of an old man hiding in a cave somewhere. They were armed with rifles and could make home made bombs and that was the extent of their threat. Now, after one successful attack, which other than the fact they claimed to have something to do with but there never has been any real proof they did, our leaders would have us believe there are millions of them, heavily armed with modern weapons and all dedicated to destroying you and me and our country. AS though the Arab population of this world has nothing better to do than to destroy the United States. By creating a 'boogieman" and a threat Bush and crowd are indulging in a universal tactic of incompetent leaders so that their incompetence is not realized or so that they can pursue their agenda unopposed. There any absolutely no gain or any necessity for al Qaida in anything. Oh and the media loves a world wide conspiracy too and they have embraced the creation of a modern day world wide network of evil. So we have "al Qaida" and its leader, which are litle more than modern day clones of the "
Yellow Peril" and its leader Fu Manchu. Silly and the stuff childrens adventure books are made of.

It's well publicized that our U.S. government is harboring a known terrorist Luis Clemente Faustino Posada Carriles, a convicted fugitive criminal who bombed an airplane and killed all 79 passengers on board. The CIA trained former CIA operative also carried out other terrorist acts in various countries in the world. Now the terrorist Luis Clemente Faustino Posada Carriles walks free and lives comfortably in the U.S.

Oh, okay. Now I understand. Thanks for clarifying the the issue for me. The United States had it coming. And 9/11, too. By my estimation (and by your rationale), we had better get ready! Yes, with all of the malfeasance, duplicity, wrongdoing and trickery that has been condoned by the Unites States--even since the Revolutionary War, and through all administrations--our payday will come soon, long and hard, and will be well deserved. Where will we all go once the United States is destroyed? Or maybe you have a place already picked out? Perhaps the new U.I.S.A. (United Islamic States of America)?

Oh yes, I can certainly see why we should all sit back and just take what we have coming. If ever a karmic ending was preordained, this would be it. And I am truly sorry that the US's karma ran over your dogma. What a shame.
