If you like classic country, and Porter's last album, "Wagonmaster" has that classic country sound, try listening on line to Bill Malone's show "Back to the Country" online on WORT_FM.org from Madison WI on Wednesday AM.

My wife and I saw Porter and Dolly together many years ago when they appeared @ Rapides Parish Coliseum, the show was great and Porter took the time to visit with all his fans as time permitted, this was just shortly after the supposed breakup of the duo as I recollect but there was no sign of animosity between them. Yes, we've lost another legent in country music sorry to say.

Porter Wagoner was a true showman and a gentleman. That era of music is disappearing. That is so sad.
Why can't we hear more music like Porters on the radio today instead a lot of the junk that are playing.
    I sure will miss him.
