I'm sure if she feels at all threatened Hillary will concoct some way to blame it all on the vast right wing conspiracy that she is obsessed with. We as Americans can only hope that her campaign implodes, we cannot afford another four years of a Billary Controlled White House. God help us if she even gets a sntiff of it.

hillary will win this election - there are few people of either sex that could remain poised under the barrage of abuse thrown at her - are there better potential presidents than hillary - almost certainly - but they are not running or they do not have the ability to win - her ability to handle diatribes and outright abuse is very valuable as whoever is president will not be tenderly embraced by the rest of this world - she is strong she is aware of the needs of the average citizen and she does not need time to learn how to be president once she is in office - we need her - we have no more time and or money to waste -

YOU ARE RIGHT. THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY INTERESTING ELECTION. I AM DEPENDING ON YOU TO KEEP THE ISSUES STRAIGHT AND TRUTHFUL FOR ME TO MAKE MY FINAL DECISIONS ON THE WAY I WILL VOTE. BEING AN ELDERLY SHUT-IN I DEPEND ON OUTSIDE SOURCES TO KEEP ME ABREAST OF CURRENT EVENTS. THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Hillary can take anything those wannabes and spoilers can dish out,and by doing so, proves she has the wits and guts to run this country, probably better than any of the presidents we have had lately. She has my vote......

Folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are all forgetting Hillary's ace in the hole. His name is Slick Willie, Bubba, Mr. President or Bill or whatever you want to call him, this guy is a tremendous orator and politician and he's got a lot of memories that involve the White House. When this guy gets out on the campaign trail for "Mama" he's gonna talk her and himself back into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Besides, there are still a lot of people out here that like Willie. If he could have run a third time against G W, he would have beat him like a rented elephant. Besides, did you ever see a closer family then the Bushes and the Clintons?

  • Posted By: POKI @ 10/31/2007 10:23:08 PM

the more the other candidates attach Clinton's position the more she stands out. The only reason why the other candidates are attacking Clinton is because they know how much of a better president she will be in 2008.The other candidates need to come up with a better strategy other then talking about Clinton' s plans. They attack because they are avoiding being attacked. Clinton knows better not to attack and that makes her more of leader. Coming election, the world will be ready for a lady president.

    • Posted By: Paul H @ 10/31/2007 10:37:50 PM

Actually the reason the're attacking her is because they know how horrible a President she will make. That's the funny thing, how anyone could possibly think she'd be anything but a failure is beyond me. She HAS NO EXPERIENCE IN RUNNING ANYTHING!

Never in Americas history have we had such a need for leadership and such a lack of it. Niether the Republicans or Democrats have offered a choice except for Ron Paul. He is the only one that can tell the truth no matter how hard it is to hear. We need a wake up call, not more of the same. Don't want to bash Hillary or Rudy, I just love my country and it is time, join th REVOLUTION!!!!

  • Posted By: Pikesheila @ 10/31/2007 10:14:32 PM

I love Hillary but was shocked to hear what she had to say about giving all illegals, drivier licences, also her changes her opinion so often. Hillary that just did not sound like you,

    Sheila

    • Posted By: Paul H @ 10/31/2007 10:34:52 PM

Unfortunately, Sheila, last night showed exactly how she is. She's been trying her hardest to paint this other image of her but couldn't keep it up any longer.

  • Posted By: cbryington @ 10/31/2007 10:29:41 PM

NEVER IN AMERICAS HISTORY HAVE WE HAD SUCH A NEED FOR LEADERSHIP AND SUCH A LACK OF IT. I HAVE WATCHED BOTH REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRAT DEBATES AND IT IS MY OPINION THAT RON PAUL IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE WHO WILL MAKE THE HARD CHOICES THAT WILL MAKE AMERICA THE NATION IT SHOULD BE, BOTH HERE AND ABROAD.

  • Posted By: JRG3 @ 10/31/2007 9:29:06 PM

HRC can bleed in the water until the cows come home and it won't matter. So far there's not a viable Republican candidate to compete with her or Obama. Both HRC and Obama have name and face recognition, they're smart, well connected and gifted with high energy. Both have excellent teams supporting them--Bill might be a *** but he's also an awesome politician. I'm sure HRC is pleased with her performance and enjoys being attacked as the front runner. So far all we Republicans have is Rudy who's a legend in his own mind . What we need is a candidate who is bipartisan, not a political hack or politically schizophenic. American's challenges, and we have many, cannot be addressed by an internationalist or someone who wants to solve our problems with failed policies from Europe, Asia,. or Canada. We must address energy dependency. We must protect our borders. We must protect our economy. We must make our education system the envy of the world. We must enforce our laws. We must shrink our government and get Uncle Sam out of our pocketbooks. We must become a world partner, not the world's nanny. HRC and all the other candidates are giving us 19th centure answers to 21st century challenges. The Republicans have this race to lose and we're running uphill. We need candidates with ideas and answers. Not double talking, old style politicians.

The debate last night was an all out Hillary roast. She proved once again she can stand up to bullys and fight for what she believes. She will easily topple the republicans in November 08.

Paul your greed and ignorance is showing. What do you think would have happened to this "once great" nation if "the new deal"had not been introduced by Roosevelt? Socialism? Damn Skippy. Did it save this country? Damn right it did. Your greed and self centeredness will not let you understand that unfettered capitalism is the most destructive and
inequal form of govrnance ever contrived by man. That is why we are now a corporate-fascist state. Pull your head out of your butt and think clearly for the first time in your life. Capitalism has been a great way for the rich to maintain and grow their wealth while the poor have no chance but to suffer. Hell, what do you think about our privatized (mercenary) armies and our privatized medicine? Is that the reason we now rank #13 in the world for heathcare? All An insignificant trust fund baby like you now needs is a privatized daddy to keep your mouth full.

      • Posted By: Zogsmog @ 10/31/2007 9:25:32 PM

Why is China rising. It isn't due to socialism. Capitalism works!

    • Posted By: Paul H @ 10/31/2007 6:12:33 PM

Actually she opened the door and let people see the real Hillary, a person not qualified to be President of this country.

She's the most unqualified person running for President period.

  • Posted By: mzzim@hotmail.com @ 10/31/2007 7:41:33 PM

Just hang in there Hillary. Your co-hearts can't be any worse than coming up against your Republican opponent (Giuliani?). Let's face it. Hillary is the best pick. Giuliani - a noun a verb and 9/11...oh and running a city. There is so much more. We need a change and it needs to be Hillary. The year 2008 is the year of the woman. Hillary has answers to this countries problem. Bush has allowed trouble to run amock. Illegal aliens, fraudulent lending practices allowed, insurance companies bailing in time of extreme patient need, verbal promises of fossil fuel alternative..only lip service. As a consumer I am tired of having to watch my back.

    • Posted By: Paul H @ 10/31/2007 9:20:52 PM

2008 is the year of the woman? That's priceless! Love the quote you borrowed from Biden, by the way but that quote alone shows exactly why Clinton isn't the answer. Biden makes fun of the experience of Giuliani, yet Hillary doesn't even have that and you think she's the best candidate? You obviously aren't paying attention then.

Hillary, and the other Dems, wants to push this country to socialism. Health care for everyone is a ridiculously stupid idea. How does anyone think any of that will be paid? Higher taxes. On top of that she wants to give a certain group of people money to open 401 K plans ... who pays for that? The answer is imple ... you and I do.

I love how everyone talks about the republicans and mainly how bad Bush has been. Bush has been bad but talk about irrelevant ... he's not running for President! You all talk of change, that's what was supposed to happen once the Dems took control of Congress ... right now they have a lower approval rate then Bush does!

Dems are softer on the issue of illegal immigrants as a whole, that's not even debatable. Hillary has done nothing thus far, she hasn't run anything, nothing and everyone wants to give her the keys to this country. Talk about a joke!

You have a very short memory of history Demilitiacrat. The Clintons stood for the "sanctity of peace"? If you will recall Clinton was president while the Army rangers and were surrounded by the seething mobs of the Somali warlords. What did Clinton do when aides informed him of the crisis in Mogadishu? Did he step up and tell the country? Did he lead? No he left for a west coast political speaking tour. You surely remember Clinton presided over the bombing of Bosnia. Yes many non-combatants including women and children died at Bill Clinton's orders. I don't remember any Bosians ever attacking America. Do you? What are the monstrous gargantuan problems we face that you mention. Iraq? Sure is sucks when soldiers die. We have lost almost 4,000 in five years. We have also lost over 25,000 American teenagers to auto fatalities in the same amount of time. Do you really think that the Clintons who are so adept at speaking out of both sides or their mouths stand for anything but the pursuit of power? Justice? You must have forgotten the last minute pardons of drug trafficers, arms dealers and con-men Clinton handed out in 2001 just before leaving office.

We are approaching half the worlds defense spending and we have a CIA budget that exceeds total defense spending for all but a few of the largest militaries. Our troops are exhausted in Iraq and our VA hospitals have become an embarrassment since they were "privatized". And yet, I didn't hear anything about the gross mismanagement of our defense spending - which does not in any way suggest that we are weak on defense if we start managing our assets properly.

and I just didn't see the passion in the Democratic candidates that the Greedy Old Party (GOP) has for doing brain surgery with a chain saw in Iraq.

    • Posted By: Paul H @ 10/31/2007 4:32:11 PM

I don't know if you're aware or not but this country is fighting a war in two different countries right now, that "could" explain why this defense budget is up and the CIA budget was increased (as it should have been) after 9/11. The agency was in dire need of money since the Clinton administration cut the CIA funding (thanks Bill!). The only thing you got right, sort of, was the comment about the VA hospitals being an embarrassment, they are, but only because they're run by the government ... and to think the idiot Democrats think we could have universal healthcare for the entire country.

The answer isn't bigger government it's smaller government, just wish some people would wake the hell up and realize socialism is what the Dems want to bring to this country. I for one have no interest in it.

      • Posted By: dotymed @ 10/31/2007 9:10:12 PM

Paul H. you're not very smart. The "new deal" saved America and it was pure socialim. We now have corporate-fascism running our country. We are figting two countries that use leftover '81 russian rifles. Before these "wars" fool our defense spending was higher than all of the other countries COMBINED. You shouldn't even be allowed to speak publicly. You show your lack of common sense every time you open your mouth.Socialism? Anything would be a great improvement of corporate-fascism. Or are you afraid you might actually have to work or sacrifice for the common good? yuck...............

      • Posted By: NeedlessLosses @ 10/31/2007 7:12:43 PM

Paul H: You are dead wrong about the costs of the war which is paid for through special appropriations that are above and beyond our annual budgeted defense funds which approach half of the world's total defense spending. And if you don't think are troops in Iraq are at the breaking point based on reports from most of our senior military officer, then you have absolutley no clue - but you do have an opinion. Our latest estimate in this war is that the cost could rise to $2.4 trillion when we were told that it would max uot at $50 billion and that we would be reimbursed by Iraq oil And this, plus, more importantly, the human costs, for a war that we did not need to fight.

the no establishment cause separating church and state only applies to a government-sponsored religion. so does the first ammendment not apply to Bush? don't you want a prez who let's the Lord guide him? even if you don't believe in Christianity don't they have good ideals? you know, demilitiacrat, all presidents have been sworn into office by placing their hands on a bible, and the continental congress had a chaplain on the payroll, so did every single state goverment. there was prayer in public schools until the fifties, and our currency and our flag's pledge both have "god talk." you should read the court brief of paula jones and bill clinton. Mohawk women were the tribal leaders, so why not Hillary? its not because she's a woman, its not because she is a democrat, its because she isn't a good person. she is a cold, calculating, beaurocrat. she believes a woman should be the "absolute mistress of her own body." "it takes a village"? it takes some one willing to preach abstinence instead of a "necessary evil." i am the product of a brutal rape, i am alive because my mother saw life, the sacredness of life. oh yah, "there is a peace that can only be found on the other side of war, and if that war must come, i will fight it."
