Please, give me a break! The last time i checked, this is still America, the best democracy in the world.Edwards ,Obama and the rest were stating the obvious. If you democrats think you are going to win come election day by continuing this culture of double speak, that is gradually chipping away at our democracy, the way we know it,you better wake up and not only smell the coffee, drink it.The American people ,at this junture, will only elect a candidate that they can trust,a candidate that is honest and does not double speak.........Democrats! Wake up.

Why is any criticism of Hillary so often poised as an "attack" -- often with the supporting context of viciousness and somehow...unfair? The answer seems fairly obvious, I supose; drum up more "poor Hillary" support. How refreshing it would be to see Newsweek and MSNBC actually look into the actual criticism being leveled...even if its "personal." It may be just be justified. Or is such "tough" reporting saved for only Bush.

I think it is time we start looking at the candidate...forget what their name is and really listen to what they are saying....how they answer the questions posed to them is important...but also what they have done about the issues in their past....are they honest??? Do we really think that putting someone into office will change their basic character? We have to be smarter about how we vote...and who we vote for. We can't just vote for a platform anymore....We really have to look into the lives of the people wishing to represent our nation... It is no longer a contest to see which party wins...It is our future... we need to look at all the candidates up for the job...Think about the people around you...do they change their views just because they want your favor....NO they may say whatever you want to hear...but they don't change their minds easily....and lets face it neither do these people we are about to vote for. Therefore we need to look at their past choices...because you know yourself...people really don't change ....they may put on a nice face...but in the end they are who they are.....So lets watch what these candidates are really doing...and make a smarter choice this time.

Go Hillary Go!!! I really feel that Hillary will come out on top of this. She showed us last night that no matter how much she is thrown she will always take the high road.

This is only the beginning of this attack on Hillary Clinton. No matter what happens from now until the nomination, the candidates oppose to Cliton Like Edward and Obama will pile on her as the primary nears. It has always been expected that they would do so. At this stage, Ms. Hillary Clinton is so far ahead in the national poll that those other candidates are desperate enough to attack the front runner. It is going to be very interesting from this point on until the last vote is cast in the primary. So, stay tuned but no matter what happens it will be Hillary against either Juliani or Mitt. Romney in the General election in 2008. And the prediction is that there will be a Madam President elected for the first time in the U.S. history.

I beleve we have seem the fear from the other candidates. I have believed we need a woman president for a long time and after eight years of Bush and his war mongers, I think the Aaaamercan people need to wake up and smell the roses. Bush and his Republican yes men and women have brought up to the brink of another unnessary war and if we don't start standing up to him and forcing him to listen to the majority of the people we will e in Iran before the end of the year. We have never been told the truth about anything from him and his playmates and when they get caught doing some illegal thet start looking for a scape goat or start bad mouthing the Dems. They need to start lisenting to the people and the other Dem candidates need to stop bashing a fellow democrat. If they were so great and she was so bad, I am sure the numbers would show it. I would have voted for Edwards last time, but not this time. As far as Obama is concerened I agree that he does not have the experience to be our President. Perhaps in four years if he can start focusing on doing something constructive with his continued service to our country as a Senator.

I agree with those who feel Giuliani is the best candidate, and I disagree that Clinton is the better choice on the Democratic side. There really isn't any good choice there, and she of all, is least favored. A debate is suppose to show how candidates differ, and those who attacked her had a right to, for if it were you and she had a substantial lead, you would as well show that she is a flip-flopper, and thus deserves to be put on the spot. Not only that, she is a deceptive human being, a liar, and a manipulator with no self respect. To be with a person (Bill) just to boost your political agenda, regardless of how loyal they are cannot deserve respect. It is something they all must earn. To say we must leave Iraq immediately... it is too late for that, the war is on, the war will continue, and there will be even greater challenges ahead. The USA cannot hide or run any longer. Blaming anyone for that is immature and irresponsible. Clinton has no experience with the level of seriousness this entails nor does she have credible answers. As well, none of them do, which is why a Republican will win. It is not a popularity contest; it is a choice for the greater person that has the best chance of getting priorities completed successfully. This takes previous experience with business and a level of success unsurpassed by others.
PS. She won the debate at 40%? Are people blind or just nuts?! I vote for nuts!

I have to say that I am very disappointed in the Democratic Party for setting forth such a negative campaign towards each other. You would think that we could learn from the past and stand united as a party. The desperate attempts to become the nominee have turned into nothing more than immature and deliberate attempts to tear each other down. I cannot believe that MSNBC played such an active role in this witch hunt against Clinton Tuesday night. Obviously, they intended the entire debate to be focused on Hillary. When ever the focus was off of her, they made sure that it was turned right back on her. All I can say is that Rove must be laughing. He doesn't have to put any efforts strategizing against the Dems this campaign. We, as Democrats, are doing it to ourselves. What a shame!

    Loinred,
I agree with you. Hillary will defintely get my vote as well.

I am definitely voting for Hillary! I don't believe in voting for people who try to tear others down. I'm voting for the person who want to build America up. John Edward in his attacks seemed like an animal, who needs to have rabie shots. As for Obama, his holier than thou attitude is not appreciated. He's a two year old senator with very little experience and it shows!!! The other decent canidates other than Hillary on the stage, were Biden, Kucinich, and Richardson. Each of these, were respectful and presented their ideas in a friendly and professional manner. As for Dodd, I like some of his viewpoints, but his demeanor radiates anger and frustration. Once again, Hillary will definitely be getting my vote!

One theme I have heard many time from the Clinton team,is that the more people get to know her, the more they will like her. I think the debate shows that if people really listen to what she is saying, they will have trouble understanding her position on the important issues confronting us. As an old saying goes, if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.

I like Hillary and She is my Second choice to Barack Obama but lets be srious she was not on her game last night. Barack and Edwards and Dodd came on strong and this is what is needed this should not be an annointed process it should be one that is earned and i believe that last night there were some issues in the Clinton Camp that were not totally honest to us as Americans.

Richard Wolffe sounds so concerned for her. I don't understand that. If Hillary were not in the lead, can you imagine what she'd be doing to her opposition? The Clinton aides appeared tired--please! Why shouldn't the others go after her?
