Well what do you expect from a fanatical government run by a bunch of fanatics??? The only thing Bush can offer is money just like he's done to Pakistan, N. Korea, etc, etc. The economy of the US is supporting terrorism on many levels across the globe. We reap what we sow: impeach Bush!!!!

you must be liberal. are you still mad that Clinton was IMPEACHED?

If the the US can afford to expose Palme (there are insinuations that Bush is involved),so Yemen can release al-Badawi. Both actions are seemingly detrimental to the US security. So, if the US has no quiver in exposing Palme, why should Yemen care about releasing al-Badawi?

    Don't try him. Kill him.

I can imagine now, the administration's shock and indignation. When you play dirty, it's likely "they" will play dirty, too.

If only this weren't my country. Sometimes, because I do like it when the "bad guys" get it, I am on the verge of gleeful when reading this kinfd of thing.

And then, I remember, I'm on the side of the "bad guys."

It's awful and it shows every sign of getting worse, fast.

How is it possible that ANYONE expected different behavior? Europeans are dreamers, thinking that dialogue works with people who have it enshrined in their holy books that deception is demanded by god when dealing with infidels? This was a textbook quran example, as is Libya and all the other 'arrangements' made with Islamic countries. Everyone had better decide who's side they are really on and quit double dealing.

end in a snipper. If Badawi is at his home in Aden, then take him out using an AK47 and leave evidence showing that he was eliminated by someone from Al Qaeda.

  • Posted By: dsmith4himusa @ 11/01/2007 1:37:44 PM

Send in a spotter and if Badawi is at his home send in a team and get him with an AK47 and leave evidence indicating it was done by Al Qaeda

IF EVER THERE WAS A JUSTIFIABLE CASE FOR SNATCHING-UP A "KNOWN" TERRORIST OR JUST OUTRIGHT KILLING HIM, THIS BADAWI BAD ACTOR IS IT!!

LET'S PLAY SOME REAL HARDBALL FOR A WORTHY CAUSE AND SEND A SIGNAL TO THE REST OF THEM AS WELL.

  • Posted By: SERGEANT @ 11/01/2007 12:36:24 PM

I'M AWARE WE HAVE TO RESPECT THE SOVERIGN RIGHTS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES. BUT THIS SITTING PRESIDENT MADE SOME STRONG DECLARATIONS ABOUT TRACKING DOWN TERRORISTS EARLY ON IN HIS PRESIDENCY.

IF EVER THERE WAS A CASE FOR KIDNAPPING AN INDIVIDUAL OR JUST OUTRIGHT KILLING HIM, THIS SITUATION WITH BADAWI SCREAMS FOR IT.

LET'S PLAY SOME REAL HARDBALL FOR A CHANGE FOR A REAL CAUSE!

Seems to me he was indicted in New York for an act that took place in the waters of a foreign country. The Yemeni have the right to do what they want with him, and if they decided after several years in custody it was time for him to be released they have every right to do so. After all he was tried, convicted and sentenced by a Yemani court and they can release him. The US does it all the time except for the thousand plus held illegally at Guantanamo in total violation of International law and the US Constitution. These without proof or reason have been denied counsel, denied visitation, denied a speedy trial and certainly have been denied release. And this is even if it appears that most of them were farmers and herders captured while trying to drive an invader from their homeland and not terrorists at all. But then the Bush Administration defines "terrorist" as "as anyone we want to say is a terrorist and no defense or mitigating circumstances are allowed." Is it any wonder that other nations refuse to go along with such an arbitrary and self-serving definition and with a nation that has no respect for them or for itself. Ten years agao the United States would have had its wishes respected because it was looked upon as a nation of honor and ethics in its international dealings. Mr. Bush has turned that trait of the United States into a source of contempt and ridicule for those other nations we should, but no longer do, interact with. If you treat the world with contempt and scorn that's what you get back. Welcome to Bush's America.

No wonder, the Bush administration has caused so much hate for the United States in the Middle East that they now praise attacks on America. Impeach dumb ass Bush!

I believe Bush Administration is in a loof because of the fact that a terrorist like Badawi has been given sanctuary by the Yemeni Government. It is indeed a shame taht our Government cannot hold a Government responsible for the carnage that these terrorist individuals inflicted on the citizens of this country. What can we expect from our Government that it does not have the moral authority to extradite Badawi to the U.S and prosecute him here in the United States?

Under this circumstances, we should not reward Yemen with foreign aids when it's government willfully let go one of the deadliest terrorist free. This should remind us all about the things that we are fighting for?

So what. Bush and Cheney now know how most of the American people feel when criminals like Scooter Libby are pardoned.Yes, Libby was not a terrorist but he indirectly was responsible for many deaths in Iraq.
Once again we see the Bush White House totally out of touch with reality.Wait till we see the pardons at the end of this presidency....

This individual should have received his sentence, the death penalty. We need not give foreigh aid to those countries that oppose our policy of terrism.

  • Posted By: JoeRoberts @ 10/31/2007 10:14:11 PM

The U.S. should cut our free aid to any of the Islomic countries that do not help us to control terror cells. This individual should have received the death penalty.

How can we be pissed at the yemenis for letting a guy go because he says he's going to support his govt or whatever, when we dismiss entirely the murder of scores of American sailors on the USS Liberty when it was obviously and conspicuously attacked by patrol boats and aircraft sent by the Israeli government. We must end our blind and unquestioning support for Israel, after all isn't that really why we are in this whole mess to begin with.

It's time to let our Seal and Ranger teams loose along with our other assets and let the games begin. Its about time some of these "heads of states" in these third world dynasties learn what the word terrorism really means. The American people have had enough.
