    People forget that Hillary is a US Senator and was reelected for a second term in a major US state. Wherease Edwards is a has been, and Obama is a comer who remains to be proved. What he might have done in the Illinois legislature doesn't really count in this nomination campaign. So, why wouldn't Hillary come out on top of the canddates for the democratic nomination. Let's face it, the democratic nominees are head and shoulders above the republican candidates who seem to have a cumulative IQ of close to 800.

    People seem to forget that Hillary is a Senaror, served one term and was reelected in a major US state. What damage could a former unaccomplished former VP candidate and senator, and an untried senator really inflict. Edwards is a has been, and Obama is a comer - but really untried. Love his rhetoric though and would appreciate a solid plan to accompany it. He seems to be the only serious competition for Hillary.

    As for the republican candidates - putting them all together doesn't equal either a Hillary or an Obama. What a bunch of losers.

    Maddie, I for one am terrified of citizens like you...easily influenced by the scare tactics of the left. I would recommend that you formulate your own opinions based on real information versus the spoon-fed garbage that the liberal media has obviously been piping into your head. Of course, if you are unable to make your own decisions (healthcare, economics...the list goes on) than keep pushing for the wimpification of our nation. Go ahead...vote for those that slowly and methodically take your rights away. I would also hope that anyone that reads your note would see how foolishly you contradict yourself...a common trap someone like yourself falls into - trying to justify an uniformed decision using unsubstantiated, empty reasoning. I certainly hope that you don't limit your choices to a woman or an African American. You may find that these choices would mean that you're voting for incompetence.

    I want each Democratic Candidate to tell me how they oppose the other side and what their solutions are. I do not like them ganging up on the front runner in their own party!

      Hillary Clinton is not the front runner. She and her campaign puts this info in the press to play with your minds. We all know she is a crook, liar, thief, conspiratory, conniver, murderer especially since she is under cover dealing with George Bush and Dick Chaney to fraudelently get into the White House.

    The other day I was driving down the road when I got rear-ended by an unlicensed, uninsured, illegal "squatter" in our country. The person claimed they were injured so I also (since they didn't have money to pay for the healthcare) had to pay for his hospital visit. I think I'd rather pay $10 more to get my lawn cut by a legalized, insured citizen than have to keep paying to support these freeloading parasites.

    Are you kidding me...Hillary is done. Nobody I know even watched the debates let alone realizes how stupid Hillary looks right now - even the liberal media is beginning the process of finding a new candidate to promote. They realize that Hillary sucks - she can't lie nearly as well as Bill. He was their ideal candidate - he can double-speak, lie and get a hummer all at once and everyone still thinks he's a genious. Hillary on the other hand looses her cool at the drop of a hat. I think she needs a good hummer herself.

    Americans are tired of being the laughing stock of the world. It is high-time we elect someone to the Presidency other than a white man; obviously they are not gettng it done for this country. Bush should be brought up on war crime charges. If someone invaded our country for our natural resources and killed tens of thousands of our people we want want their neck in a noose. His rampant disregard for our country and his rule by cronyism is evident by his no-bid contracts to Haliburton and the lack of oversight on mercenaries groups like Blackwater. Our own military are being brought up on murder charges for making bad decisions while under immense stress in Iraq, but Blackwater can kill Iraqi civilians without any provocation and Bush grants them immunity. What the hell is that about!!!! America doesnt need a dictator like Bush we need a leader, one who inspires us to goodness and promotes peace throughout the world, not war. All one has to do is look at any Republican gathering and see that it is a party of, for, and by white men, period. Anyone one else who thinks otherwise is just being fooled by their empty rhetoric. I for one look forward to the day when we can get rid of this uneducated, unsophisticated President, and replace him with someone who cares more about this country than lining their own pockets. If Bill Clinton can be brought up on impeachment charges for getting a blow-job in the White House, yet we let President Bush get away with murdering tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis, use our military to help his corporate friends get rich, torture people in secret prison camps, spend America into bankruptcy, and fail to provide funds to keep our countries infrastructure from crumbling, then we as Americans have failed ourselves and our country. We need to wake up and start taking care of our own or we will continue to see our country decline as a leader of the world, and our standard of living continue to spiral downward. I encourage everyone to vote either for a woman or an African American in 2008, the good old white boys just aren't getting it done!!!!

    At 72yrs ,a life long Republican, I will cast my vote in the next Presidential election for a democrat even if the put up a live goat as a candidate. I am disgusted with the shame that Geo. Bush has brought to my country that I so proudly wore a uniform for and didnt try to hide like our cowardly Pres and VP pres did

    What I want to know is what is going to happen when Mrs. Clinton loses the Nomination? Or even worse, if she is nominated, when she loses the general election? She is buying her way now and the news media is telling her she is the "Front Runner", giving her the impression she is buying her way into the White House. It may not work! Either Edwards or Biden would be a better choice for the Democrat nomination!

    If we give drivers licenses to illegal aliens, who will sell them insurance?? Do all States require insurance for drivers licenses?? A more pointed question; What ever happened to the rule of Law?? OF course, it don't matter, we don't enforce um any way. SO why worry about even passing Laws?? OH I get it, Laws are only for citizens. DDang,how dumb of me.

    What I want to know is what is going to happen when Mrs. Clinton loses the Nomination? Or worse yet, loses the general election? Can this country stand another Al Gore fiasco? How many re-counts and boxes of ballots will suddenly appear in the losers name? Anyone who was in or near Florida while they were carrying ballot boxes to be added to the count, just to get enough to be more than Bush, knows what I'm talking about. There were men willing to do serious bodily injury to honest poll workers and voters.

      Don't shoot the messenger, confront the message. I would never say Hillary is ignorant, but I would question having her on the democratic ticket. I am all for a woman president, just not that woman. Hillary will end up circling the republican wagons and costing us the election. We have some great choices in all of the democrates running, we need to give all of them equal time to present their potential for our country as the next leader. Don't let Iowa or the press make the choice, we need too - all of us.

    --My impression of the 09 race so far is that of a bunch frightened men who probably know they cant beat her just piling on because most of them have nothing better to offer.Ditto the media especially Chris Matthews and Tucker Carlson almost irrational at times. Let me give all of them a clue. Senator Clinton is leading all because we trust her and most of us recognize the Clinton Years as some of the best times we as a country have experienced.
