    @ David Anders

Man, great reading! I hope at some point you and Barblze can both acknowledge you're voting for the same can o' worms regardless of which of the two you choose to bash. If you believe things need to change in the way things are run in this country (and I sincerely believe that is the case) you're not going to get anywhere by rehashing the same ol' crap about the same ol' people (yes, good ol' boy Mike is the same ol' people, just under a different name). Consider finding a third party candidate for whom you can vote in good conscience. As long the country's run by Democrats and Republicans, things are not going to change a bit. Why would they? They both benefit from the system(s) currently in place.
No, I don't consider it a 'wasted' vote, nor will I drop my principals to vote for the 'lesser of two evils'. Who wants to vote for evil? As long as I can vote for someone who enables me to look myself in the mirror the next morning, I'm content with my choice (even if I'm not content with who's in office). Fact is, people who vote third party didn't keep George HW Bush out of office, nor did they keep Al Gore out. If a candidate from an incumbent administration can't convince enough people they're the right choice on their own, they don't deserve the office.
Want to change things in this country? Kick the Republicans AND Democrats out of office. I've long since tired of someone who's been in office for 20 years talk about change. You've had your chance to change and you've done NOTHING.

Wow Barbize we do read and dont forget, especially about Hillarys stealing of the whitehouse furniture, and her support of the communist law firm where she worked, aqnd her thesis on a known socialist, and her defense of the black panthers crimes. Also since she s using Bill, do you remember the hundreds of pardons of criminals, drug dealers and terrosists over the objection of law enforcement. How s my reading?

If there's ever been a true grass roots campaign it has to be Mike Hucakee's bid for the presidency. He has come from abject obscurity to being taken seriously without help from big money, big politicians, big celebrities or media support. He used the internet (a Buck for Huck) and the proverbial "grape vine" to build a solid base of support and to begin raising respectable financial support. He's rock solid on the issues as far as I am concerned. As a "hill billy" at heart he's my man. I LIKE MIKE!

    • Posted By: barblze @ 11/27/2007 10:13:35 AM

Your the problem, too many hillbillies voting on personalities instead of issues. Of course I do understand that republicans don't read and find out for themselves about issues. They just do what their told, and blindly follow.

Well...we need a miracle...and if Republican's choose Mike to represent the Republican Party, I hope that he's the miracle that can do more than bring the country together. The current administration has caused enough damage to this country to warrant a miricle. So if you're the man....you've got both thumbs up from me!

      2008 Presidential Candidate Weekly Poll

  • Posted By: rainburr @ 11/07/2007 6:56:01 PM

Huckabee represents all that is wrong with the political scene lately. Dorkinsaw, as it has come to known, was his springboard, the state with poverty and taxes equally high. Lack of sex education in schools because the bible is tops instead of science. Don't forget that he is one of 3 morons who admits to NOT believeing in Evolution. He is the perfect guy to lead the US the rest of the way downhill into a Theocracy as muddled as any in the Mid-east. One thing this country does not need is another bible pounder in the White House. Has anyone wondered what was on the $35,000 worth of hard drives he had destroyed? You gotta wonder what a bible pounder would fear so much that he had to have all the state owned hard drived crushed. Been looking at the porno Mikie?

      2008 Presidential Candidate Weekly Poll

  • Posted By: PaulCharles @ 11/10/2007 5:44:07 PM

Mike Huckabee is fast becoming a relevant option for mainline conservative Republicans. Even with the latest endorsements of Pat Robertson and Sam Brownback for other candidates, Governor Huckabee is the perfect antidote to Hillary and her man from Hope.

    2008 Presidential Candidate Weekly Poll

Mike Huckabee is fast becoming a relevant option for conservative mainline Republicans. I think we'll see him rocket to second place in Iowa and be slingshot into prominance heading into New Hampshire. He could become a quality VP for anyone of the other frontline candidates if he doesn't nab the nomination.

As you say, Mirror, you are feebel minded; as are those who believe that the Earth is 5,000 years old or that dinosaurs walked with men. But I digress. The very fact that there are people of your ilk who are so lacking in any kind of decent education, is proof that we have indeed evolved (or at least some of us have) from ape like ancestors, whereas you may not have evolved so much as devolved.
You are the kind of person who see presents under a christmas tree as proof that Santa exists. Silly and sad that so many ignorant Americans, such as you, are allowed to even vote. But, I suppose, that IS what makes America great.
Also, you, Mirrior, prove my case for NO RELIGION in politics... religion and the ignorance it seems to encourage has no place in government... as this administration has proved so well. Your wornout argument about the "eye" shows you can not read, or choose to not read, so there is little point in discussing science with a bucket of hair...

Rainburr is the idiot and moron who believes he is the decendant of monkeys..... who very early in the "evolutionary" stage used to be an amoeba....which, by some miracle, came into existance as a result of the "big bang." The funny thing is that it takes far more faith in the belief that we are an ultimate result of some big bang and culmination of gaseous combinations which "evolved" into the miraculous machine of a human being. .... Look in the mirror Rainburr..... You are living proof that you were "created" by something far more intelligent than our feeble human minds can comprehend. As "smart" as mankind is, NOTHING in the universe has been created with such intricacy and complexity, not even Al Gore's internet, than that of a human being. As I said, look in the mirror...stare into your own eyes...and marvel at what you see. The most sophisticated cameras ever created by man are lightyears away from the complexity and perfection of the human eye. Then put your hand on your chest and feel your heart beat. Why does it continue to beat? Who invented such a complex "muscle" that beats ....every day, all day long....and while you sleep. What a wonderful creation you soul has been given to live within. Look in the mirror Rainburr....There's your proof of an almighty creator.

Wow, if ever there was a guy whs NOT suited to be Pres it is Huckabee (the Huckster) and the guy who destroyed $35,000 worth of hard drives in the governors office when he left office in Dorkinsaw (as it has come to be known to my friends) high taxes on everything, high poverty, no sex education in schools. The Huckster is certainly the man to lead this country in a Theocracy that could take us further from the nation we once were than even Bush has done. Remember he is one of 3 morons who raised his hand when asked who does NOT believe in Evolution. This country needs a Baptist Minister in the White House like it needs another 4 years of Bush!

Governor Huckabee is the person best suited to bring our country together, re-uniting us over the values that have made Ameria a great nation for so long. He isn't concerned with special interests but rather with America's interests. He is right on poing when it comes to health care and taxes/economic issues, and he inherently understands what we are up against with Islamic jihadism. That war won't only be one with bullets and bombs, but also with values and ideals. Huckabees ideals reflect America's ideals at our best, which is why he has my support.

I love this line! Also, the idea of tax no tax isn't important to me. What are you doing with the money? Is what is needed being done? In Oklahoma taxes were impossed for schools but the schools didn't receive it. Now that is a bad tax. But if taxes were impossed and the roads were fixed, the schools were improved as happen in Arkensas, then praise God that is a great tax. By the way I like the idea of the Fair Tax that Mike Huckabee is for. Good idea.

If Mike ends up as the Republican Presidential hopeful...I hope that ahh shucks demeaner isn't taken at face value. We need a miracle folks. Our current administration has sold us down the river...and we have a lot more to loose than family values. The current state that our adminiistration has put us in near financial ruin. When Katrina hit...we suffered. When there were no weapons of mass destruction...we suffered. And when the wild fires in southern California hit we suffered because we no longer have the support that we have had in the past because we're spread so thin. We're in deeper debt than Reaganomics ever thought about getting us into...and I'm sick and tired of being put back into the black by Democrats. What is wrong with our political party that we have followed our Commander in Chief over the edge like lost sheep! I'm all for you Mr. Huckabee...just let us know what you want to do...so we can decide what we want to do!

Until the GOP debates I didn't even know who Mike Huckabee was - now I'm a firm supporter and just made my first campaign contribution (in my life). Go Mike, go!

  • Posted By: aresendez @ 11/05/2007 12:53:28 PM

I had no idea who this guy was until the debates. Now I am solidly a Huckabee supporter, as a matter of fact, I just finished sending a $25 contribution to his campaign, the first such donation I've made in my life, and while it may be a small dollar amount, I feel like in the hands of a man like Huckabee it can go a long-long-way. Go Mike, Go!

    Searching for an answer.

    The whisper of
    a sibilant wind
    imagines, feeling
    the cold and when
    a light fades
    away, beautiful
    moments of a fearless
    and courageous
    wonder, describing
    a dream, and waiting
    for a meaning; but
    a weeping returns,
    and that???s in your
    mind, like a glimmer
    of hope and a
    delicate sadness
    recalling the past
    in the light of
    a wisdom.
