There is nothing about the Clinton"s the whole world doesn't know. Lets get on with the issues and off the personal attacks. If you look at all the canadates, they all have terrible personal lifes with all their marriages and marring women that are young enough to be their daughters. Yet because Hilliary choose to keep her marriage together, she is somehow the bad person. Lets get real in these debates it should be about the issues and we have plenty

Dr. Smoof - that wasn't during the Pledge. It was during the National Anthem. This is right up there with criticizing Obama for his name.

The man has my vote. I've read his books. I've heard him speak. He's got his priorities straight.

You all need to push the rewind button. He answered fully the questions. you may not like his answer or may not be listening but he answers all questions. He is going to be the next President of the United States. He is the most competent candidate in both parties, and will enforce the constitution and united our country and improve our standing in the world. He will bring our troops home from Iraq and will work closely with our allies.

Obama will not say the "Pledge of Allegiance", nor place his hand over his heart during the saying of it! He is not someone we want as the Commander and Chief!!!

So he didn't actually come and out say, "Yes, I support giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants." This guy is so fake

Disingenuous would characterize Mr. Obama, as well as all others in the race. No news here.

Enjoyed the interview, despite all the fishing for responses that could be filef under the familiar Obama attacks Clintons storyline. Thought Obama handled all questions well. Would really love to see him interviewed Bill Moyers style, where the objective is too really understand his policy views and more importantly why he believes he is the best choice to lead our country.

Completely wimpy interview. 99% of bloggers - or his PR people - could ask better questions. I encourage everyone to go to Obama's appearances and ask him about this:

Then, upload his response to Youtube.

Edwards needs to quit so Obama has a better chance of winning. Obama's 24% and Edward's 12% together can become 36%, which then starts to approach Hillary's 44%.

Excellent interview. obama is in that last phase of his campaign and he is tough. this is the first time Hillary has ever really been challenged in an election. Both times she has coasted and until the debate and Russert, has had an easy ride by the press. and here Obama is right. She is rewarded and made to seem so savvy by not telling the people the truth and parsing.

When this is all over and done with, The Obama Campaign is going to be looked at as brilliant. Obama told everyone that he is not a shrinking violet, and that they had the entire definition of the "Politics of Hope" wrong. As long as Obama keeps sticking to forceful disagreements on Issues, and is ready to shoot down mudslinging with truth from a position based on honesty and principle, the American people will reward him. The "Angry" left will reward him because he will forcefully be beating down right wing talking points with logic, making the mudslingers look ridiculous as opposed to giving them power with either claiming that they are being "unfair" or resorting to playing the game on their level and making himself lose credibility. Progressives have been begging for someone just to fight for them from a position of principle, because we know that progressive ideals beat repressive ideals everytime. Obama understands that. He believes it, and he will continue to show great political savvy as he destroys his competition with honesty and strength.
The traditional Democratic Party's tactics for a generation have always been based on the LAST election. That is why they continued to lose. Obama and Axlerod are teaching the Schrums and Carvilles of the political punditry the REAL "New Way" politics. It is called honesty.
Obama will take this strategy all the way to the Whitehouse. Just wait until after Iowa when you only have two or three left on these Debates and it becomes more and more impossible for HRC to hide. It will be absolute destruction for the DLC way of obfiscation and never taking a stand.

I'm glad Obama brought up the debate where he was 'piled on' by the moderator and opponents. He joked that he had prepared for the debate by riding the bumper-cars at the fair, and then proceeded to strongly defend his positions. Compare that with the whining reaction from the Hillary campaign.

I agree that Senator Clinton has had a virtual pass on everything she has said and done up until now. If she can't stand up to legitimate questions by her own party about her constantly wavering positions, then how does she ever expect to handle the gloves-off onslaught she is sure to get from the Republicans?

Salon.com reported yesterday that her campaign regularly sends out potentially damaging news reports to news organizations and blogs in an effort to smear her opposition behind the scenes. The hypocrisy of Hillary saying she won't go negative in an effort to paint her opponents as attackers for simply pointing out her positions is doubly damning. She doesn't have the integrity or courage to debate the differences honestly, so she plays the poor piled on woman and has her attack dogs do her dirty-work behind the scenes.

This woman insults me as a feminist by playing the 'poor me being beat up by the big bad boys' card. She insults the electorate in general by manufacturing an image that plays well to certain crowds while her actions behind the scenes are reminiscent of those orchestrated by the likes of Karl Rove.
