Sure we should start bringing troops home from Iraq. We won. Civilian deaths have fallen to the lowest levels ever, to about a rate of 25 a day - the same as South Africa. Afghanistan is stabilizing as we drive the terrorists from the country. Under Bush the the deficit fell and the economic growth right now is a direct result of those tax cuts that bush gave. And it was a flat rate cut, meaning that all Americans got back the same percentage of their taxes - thus people who paid more got back more. Hillary is proposing massive socialist programs that will make the war's cost and FEMA's buracracy look like child's play. Bush is not a Great president, but hillary will be a terrible one.

Interesting that everyone is going after her and everything about her, but what about Rudy Guliani's multiple divorces as well as Fred Thompson. Does anyone worry about Barak and his youth? What about all the correspondence between each candidate and his/her spouse? She is being hounded because she is the leader right now. I look at the other candidates and she is the best qualified.

Best qualified what are you like functioning on one brain cell? Hillary Rotten Clinton couldn't give a sraight answer if she were running for dog catcher. She has never run a state, a city or even a small town. Hell she can't even keep her own house in order. This is the most power hungry politician this country has ever seen. If she is elected president she will run all her hidden agendas down our throat and destroy her political opponents all with the full force of the power of the office. She has more skeletons in her closet and more baggage than JFK airport.

Oh yeah, she would be SO much worse that Bush has been. Obviously our current President is a font of truthful statements and he has never rammed his agenda down our throats. ANYONE is an improvement over what we have in office right now!

Frankly, Hillary had her chance to be president and since her husband narrowly missed being impeached, I don't want to see either set foot in the White house again! They already abused the power and dignity of the office and it amazed me that Hillary was voted in as a Senator anywhere at all! I would welcome a woman President--but let's get one that can do justice to the Job.

the democrats are doing so much mudslinging at each other that we are in danger of another close 2008 election with voter hokey pockey in one state for a republican victory. this nonstop election with nothing being accomplished but fleecing the sheep has got to stop. this is taxation without representation. maybe we should bring our heros home from Iraq to stabilize our own country.

    • Posted By: Chili Padi @ 11/05/2007 12:22:43 PM

Now this is one time I agree with someone about bringing our troops home from Iraq.

  • Posted By: america100 @ 11/05/2007 11:41:51 AM

First of all I think Hillary will be a great president. While Clinton was in office our we did not have billions of dollors in deficit. When Bush came on board he gave back all these dallors to the rich. Then he started the war we are in now and are getting all of our boys killed for no reason at all.. Why is Obama and the rest of his peere so against Hillary. It is because she is a women and is leading in the campaign. What does

Obama know about being president. I would not vote for him. He thinks he knows it all. I'm sorry but he is
nothing but a loud mouth. He thinks he's such a good Christainbut he is'nt. He is just running a negative
Campaign.isctaed of running a political one. I hope his big mouth gets him in trouble. By the way how about learning how to spell words before you write an article..

A Clinton nomination is the only chance the Republicans have of winning. She's not drawing in any moderate Republicans or independents. Guiliani/Huckabee are praying for the chance to run against her. Campaign experience doesn't matter if most of the country simply does not like her. If she does get elected she will continue to divide this country for all the wrong reasons. God forbid she play the gender card throughout her presidency. Can you imagine that? Think she'll hand back all the power Cheney has hoisted up to the executive? It's time to get past the baby-boomer b.s. and elect a true statesman. Not the same old tired politics of big money, shady deals and special interests. She's two faced and can't be trusted. FOX's ratings will skyrocket and the GOP will be stronger than ever. We need fresh ideas. Nostalgia is a weak reason to vote Clinton.

my great grandfather said if you are any one of a these, a liar, a cheater, or a thief, chances are you are all three, the clintons prove the point, bill and hilary clinton should be in federal prision as traitors, they have done such a diservice to america, when they were in office they sold america out, their pockets are more important than the american people, now we suffer the consequence of their greed, and they want a second run, i don't think so. where are the people of yester year, the people who exterminated the worthless kenedys

  • Posted By: joeflebetes @ 11/05/2007 8:38:25 AM

NONE of this matters! Hillary has already provided the GOP with ALL the ammunition they need to sink her presidential campaign once she becomes the nominee: She is FOR giving the PRIVILEDGE of a drivers license to ILLEGAL immigrants, something 80% of Americans (must include a lot of Dems and independents) are AGAINST. Her papers mean nothing, Iraq will be much calmer, the 2008 election will come down to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.... and the GOP will probably win in a landslide.

she cant even control her own husband. if she wins she will make bush look like thomas jefferson

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO OPEN OUR EYES AND REALIZE WHAT A DECEPTIVE AND LYING WHILE SMILING AT YOU PIECE OF CRAP WE ARE DEALING WITH.NOTHING SHE HAS SAID IS EVER COMPLETELY TRUE,MOST OF IT HASNT EVEN BEEN POSITIVELY CONFIRMED OR IS BASED ON SOMEONE ELSES ANALYSIS

I vote AMERICAN note dem. or rep. but the person I believe will do the most good for the common man. Last year I made 2X the money as this year. Now I just get by. I want a President that has My best interests at heart and 20 years of bush and clinton politics are enough. lets get a new fresh thought process brewing in the house. I do admit I voted for Bush but now we are getting it in the backside. Al Gore is not the answer he has the brains of a sewer rat, Billary is not the answer she's as crooked as a bucket of guts, the ex mayor of new york there's as winner NOT, John Macain is almost a winner but is to friendly to Bush, and the list goes on. I like to think I am a smart voter as I have masters in poli-sci, but when you don't have a choice I guess you do what most of us do and try to vote for the best canidate( THE LESSER OF 2 EVILS). I hope it comes down to Thompson and Obama. They seem to be the least PROFFESIONAL of the canidates, not in the qualifications but in their political ways. I do know that hillary has made herself out to be the next queen as I have follower the clintons quite closely over the years. All of her comment over the years have been leading to this moment in time, but one stands clear and I'll leave you with this thought. She said when she became 1st lady " Doctors make to much money, " At the time doctors made $180,000 per year of which $120,000 went to malpratice ins. Hillary made $550,000 the year prior as a lawer. think long and hard before you vote for her and do your research.

we're also still waiting to have sandy berger questioned under a polygraph about what documents he destroyed rather than present them to the 9-11 commission......

  • Posted By: Huck Fillary @ 11/05/2007 7:33:44 AM

Hillary just appointed Sandy Berger to watch the documents

  • Posted By: pooter101 @ 11/05/2007 6:11:24 AM

We are still waiting for the old media to find out who hired Craig Livingston.

  • Posted By: pooter101 @ 11/05/2007 6:08:36 AM

    Who hired Craig Livingston?

I love posts that blame "Neocons", Bush, old elections in order to avoid the questions about hillary. Hillary is, was and will continue to be the worst nightmare this country may have to endure. To Dems and liberals looking at her to restore the White House to some convulsed past, be careful, you will get more than you dream for with Hillary, the dream will be like a bad burrito mixed with soap to digest.

  • Posted By: GWBasher @ 11/05/2007 1:39:12 AM

While the Neocons here promote their anti-Christ theories about Hillary they forget about their best man who have turned this country on it's head. In 7 years there hasn't been anything positive about Bush Cheney that can overcome the negative. One thing Hillary has that you Neocons don't. A clean slate to work with. With the experience of Bill Clinton who did what he said he would for the middle class. It didn't take voter fraud for him to get elected. Remember the majority of people who voted didn't vote for Bush.

  • Posted By: newshound543 @ 11/04/2007 11:53:54 PM

If the democrates keep up the mudslinging i can guess another close election with some voter hookey pockey to bring us another contested election is in order. it seems we have non stop elections with nothing getting done inbetween. nothing but defleecing the sheep.

  • Posted By: 2nd.Ohio @ 11/04/2007 10:15:57 PM

    Awwww Come on folks.
Hillary has more business partners, constituents, and close family friends end up
mysteriously pushing up daisies; than that lady that played on, "Murder She Wrote."
And were worried about dogs??? LOL!

  • Posted By: johnchik @ 11/04/2007 9:13:54 PM

When Obama alled Hillary "disingenuous" he was being kind. She has shown a tevency to skrt the legal system, deny any alleegations until absolutely proven wrong, and than blame her staf for a clerical oversight. If you want a President that is steeped in darkness and Obfuscation, Hillary is the way to go.

Michael, the Barrett Report and the Cox Report are examples of even more significant documents that were redacted by the Clintons' attorneys. It would be nice if Newsweek would help call attention to these redactions so we can see what taxpayers spent $40 or so million on.
