Here are some facts about barack obamma really liked him until I saw the pic of him not at attention during the national anthem which was not only on the internet but also on the news. L

    Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U.S. Presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was six years old the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that he "was once a Muslim but also attended a Catholic school."
Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that he is not a radical. And that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.
Also keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches!
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!

Please forward to everyone you know. Would you want this man leading our country? NOT ME!!!

I could not care less about the religion of my president, unless it's influencing his/her ability to do his/her job. Which it shouldn't be, because we have a separation of church and state. So, in this country we can all believe whatever we want. Thank goodness. I also find it amusing that "atheist" is capitalized in this (false, fanatical) story, as if it weren't actually the most logical stance to take on religion. Because really, religion doesn't really make a lot of sense. Most people think it, but are afraid to say it.

Barack Hussein Obama does not face our American flag nor places his right at his heart while singing the Pledge of Allegiance. This is disrespect to our country. Wake up America.

Looks like some good little monkeys checked their e-mails. Why don't you both be quiet. The right wing tactics of lie, repeat, lie, repeat only works on the weak minded of their base. We all know that these accusations have been investigated and have been proven to be untrue. Stop wasting everyone's time and crawl back into your holes.

you should vote based on the candidate's policies, not their gender or skin colour. after all, 4 years down the line, it won't matter if they're black, white or male or female.. it will only matter in which direction they have lead the country.

    • Posted By: mecha1300 @ 02/05/2008 6:10:12 PM

I agree with you 100 %. I am not voting for Hillary only because she is a woman. I think she could do alot of good for this country. I think she will do alot for education and bring the troops home.... which is way over due. It is just frustrating to think the only reason this man may be elected is because of skin color. If I thought he was the best candidate i would vote him. I don't think he belongs in the white house. everyone is entitled to their opinion thats what makes this country great.

We are all women before we are born, does the sex of a candidate really make a difference.

        • Posted By: Twhit1007 @ 02/11/2008 5:12:55 AM

Unfortunately there is a problem with Hillary being a woman. I have spent a long time trying to think of ANY reason why at this point in time a woman shouldn't be President of the United States. We are at war in 2 Middle-east nations and support the Isreali and Saudi Arabian militaries. We can all agree that democrats as a majority want to end the war in Iraq. In order to do so, there needs to be regional diplomacy to keep the peace. The racism in America pales in comparison to the sexism (for lack of a stronger word) in Islamic nations. I find it hard to believe that Hillary will be respected by any of them and therefore willl not be able to negotiate as needed. Obama's father was a black muslim and he has said he is willing to talk to any leader of any nation. This will resonate with Muslim leaders and their people. Regardless of how beyond racism and sexism we believe we are in this country we can't ignore the fact that the Middle-east is nothing like our country. The "war on terror" is a hopeless war never to be won. The more of them you kill the more they will persuade to join them. The only way to decrease terrorism is through diplomacy and changing the minds and hearts of those that hate us out of ignorance and radicalism. This is only one of the reasons why I believe that Obama will be the only candidate to help us down that road.

I agree with you. Senator Barack Hussein Obama is not yet fit to be our president. He;'s arrogant and undiplomatic. Just look at how he snubbed Clinton at the State of the Union Speech.

I am not a Clinton Democrat and voted for Ralph Nader over Bill Clinton, but Hillary and
Barak in a combined ticket is not totally unheard of. As for real experience anyone who knows anything
knows Barak has more useful and real experience. Since when did being first lady count as experience?
Anyone who does has predjudicial problems. White male from New York for Obama. Get Hope.

Florida and Michigan went against the Huge Democratic Machine and their constituents will pay the price by not be represented. The Democratic party really doesn't want your vote they only want your money.

    • Posted By: Twhit1007 @ 02/11/2008 4:49:46 AM

Really, I could have sworn all of our money was stolen by republicans and given to the top 1% richest people. You know the ones who were going to help build our economy. Looks like all they did was build a bunch of Mcmansions and now our economy is in the crap/per. Way to go republicans!

  • Posted By: debbY4057 @ 02/06/2008 1:12:52 AM

This is not an election by the people. Here in California your party was changed so you had to vote democrate or not at all. Both my son and I were told that this was are only choice. While we were waiting they did the same thing to the next person.

    • Posted By: Twhit1007 @ 02/11/2008 4:45:13 AM

I'm not clear on your complaint. I also live in California which was a primary state. Dems could only vote for Dems and Repubs could only vote for Repubs. It was only if you were not a registered member of these parties could you use the "non-commited" ballot and vote for any of the candidates.

    • Posted By: jeanie605 @ 02/06/2008 10:48:07 AM

An election by the people has not happened for quite some time. When the elections start there are more candidates to vote for. By the time my state votes some have dropped out, I do not have the choice to vote for them. Why aren't all elections held on the same day?

  • Posted By: dor940 @ 02/05/2008 7:58:21 PM

I believe that it is wrong for the Democratic leaders to strip the delegates in florida and michigan of their voting rights because they voted early. The two states that Hilary Clinton won, she won't get any delegates because of the punishment. I just don't think that is right. If Hilary Clinton got the delegates from those states, then she would be leading the democratic race but now she is behind in the pack by about 15. So, now I am wondering if they even want Clinton to win. So, I hope that she does win the primaries before obama does.

    • Posted By: Twhit1007 @ 02/11/2008 4:41:26 AM

Unfortunately that is the decision that was made by the DNC before any of the primaries began. Because many of the voters were aware that their votes wouldn't count towards delegates there are too many what-ifs involved. For example if you wrote in Obama in Michigan it wouldn't count as a vote at all. Since neither Edwards nor Obama were on the ballot it is unfair to award any delegates to Hillary. If Hillary pushes to count the delegates in either state and she gets her way I will forever abandon the democratic party and join a group that actually matches my philosophy such as the green party. It would be nothing more than another stolen election. I'm not saying that it was a wise move to punish them, I am just saying that you can't go back and change the rules after the game has been played.

I am not a clinton fan either,
. Hillary clames thirty five year's experance, wake up America we don't have that long . We need change now' not false promises. America needs Mr. Barack Obama.

  • Posted By: SEEya @ 02/10/2008 2:36:43 PM

I am not a Clinton Democrat . I voted for Ralph Nader instead of Bill Clinton the second.time he ran.
Funny Bill Clinton voiced change and look at the results. NOT Special interests and big business are more special than ever. Both Clintons have deceitful self interests. Where were Bill or Hillary in 2004?
Special interests ??? They have plenty including themselves. Experience being influenced by special
interests too much. Barak Obama has much more useful experience than anyone running. Do your
homework. If you don't do your homework that's predjudice, not anyones race or gender.

Cajun, the dems don't need to keep the states they had... they need to win the states they didn't. It's far more meaningful to see Obama polling well in traditionally Republican and split states than states like Cali and New York (which will vote for whoever is on the Dem's ticket). The states that decide the election aren't the red and blue states. It's the states that could go either way that matter most.

In California you were not allowed to vote republican. My son and I are both registered rebublican, but when we got to the polls the would not let us vote that way. We were told that we could vote Democrate or not at all.
This then happened to a man who came in after us. What a great system, you either vote for who we tell you or don't get to vote at all.

    • Posted By: muddy2 @ 02/08/2008 5:54:33 AM

Debbie, you went to the wrong polling place, hon. It can change with every vote. It is a shame they didn't tell you where you were supposed to be, though. You should come to Texas; we're the friendly state!

Along with these primary results maps, it would be interesting to see a comparison map of which party won each State's electoral college votes in the last actual presidential election. I think it is more meaningful to see Clinton win the primary in for example California, which was probably a democrat state in the real election than to see Obama win the primaries in a bunch of midwest states that gave their college votes to the Republicans in the last real election and probably will again...

There should be an offical site for the delegate count. I went to three different news websites and found three different totals for republican and democratic delegate count. This is really unnerving!

  • Posted By: Miller2024 @ 02/07/2008 5:47:50 PM

    Mayor Jonathan Miller (R)

I campaigned for Barack Obama and both Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney in Northern California, Georgia, and Missouri. If the GOP do not get together, we will vote for OBAMA. Let's all salute John Mc cain or Mike Huckabee now so we can win the general election.

  • Posted By: KaraG @ 02/07/2008 3:06:22 PM

Hillary is FAR from done! This is a race for delegates, not total # of states. McCain lost plenty of states. Hillary won most of the important states. The ones that tend to give clues to the general election. CA, NY, MA. MO was only a 10,000 vote difference out of approx 800,000. She won all but 5 counties. Just remember in the democratic race, whether you win or lose the popular vote, you still gain delegates! Everyone PLEASE keep voting and supprting your candidate. Don't give up just because it looks to be leaning one way or another. Every vote counts!

  • Posted By: VAChris@FC @ 02/07/2008 8:34:46 AM

People, whatever happens from here on out will still carry some weight, that's if Hillary emerges as the nominee, but much of the air is let out of the hot air balloon that is the Clintons, no disrespect. I say this for two reasons: The Clinton dynasty is powerful and entrenched in the American body politic, and two for a virtual unknown in the person of Obama to hold Hillary to a draw doesn't mean weakness of the entrenched dynasty, rather it stands to reason that most likely something much more powerful and extra ordinary, in the person of Obama just hit town, not unaware of the entrenched dynasty, but still unperturbed, is marching on to do what he came to accomplish, howbeit without stepping on any toes. After all, the pundits had conclusively declared Obama a non-starter with no chance. All the polls had Hillary leading in EVERY State, and Nationally, but they spoke too fast!

If not yet, then sometime in the very near furture, we have to recognize the Obama campaign for what it truly is - a peoples movement that has fundamentally changed the way politics is played in this great country of ours. This guy has a much wide spread support than Hillary, and the financial support tap seems not about to run dry as evidenced recently by the $32 million he raised in January alone, and then the $3m the Wednesday after supper Tuesday. When the engine was still churning it was dismissed as unserious, so no mind was paid to it, then the caravan ROLLED out and they realised it's too late to stop, so now they're trying to minimize any damage it may cause, but they're running out of time and money. The movement is ON!

let???s see men have been controlling politically for a long time and they have totally sucked, I think a women in charge will get things done and any male egos should be set aside because if there against women getting respect and going places ,well we all know you have a complex.

    • Posted By: Ramrod @ 02/07/2008 12:31:33 AM

Have ALL male candidates "really sucked"? First of all, I'm not familiar with that rating system, what's the scale? Like 1-10? But besides your intellectual position on men, what happens if Hillary were elected and she also "sucked"? I guess then we men would be able to say that no woman should be allowed as president again because all previous female presidents (albeit, one) "sucked". That would be unfortunate, because despite your belief that men have a "complex", many men are quite even in terms of voting between Hillary and Obama. I, myself see no issue with voting for a woman, assuming she has what I think are the best stances on important issues to me. I will not vote for Hillary because of her stances. I suggest you find something about Hillary, other than being a woman, to vote for and support. I have still yet to see a woman support Hillary for any other reason than her being a fellow owner of two X-chromosomes. Please stay home when it comes your time to vote.

I read almost all these comments and discussions from other websites and I just want to point out the fact that there has been problems found with each of the main candidates except for one: Obamas lack of patriotism, Clintons, healthcare plans that will raise taxes, the controversy of weather McCain's a true republican, the fact the he has been caught in lies. To tell you the truth this scares me this isn't just some high president we are choosing this is the president of the united states. There is no way everyone will agree on the same person, but I feel that everyone should take the time to read each of the candidates web page. Read about the issues facing America today and make your decision based on that. not on the color, sex, religion or even party of the person. I Have read each and everyone of the candidates web pages and found that Mitt Romney definitely has what it takes to improve the economy, education, healthcare, and so many others issues. He is strong in his debates and the only problem that people have with him is either his religion or the fact that he is a republican. I have always been a democratic but after researching a lot on who the candidates really are and not just what the media makes them out to be, I have chosen Romney as my pick for president. to me the other candidates are risky because, They have been caught in lies, they focus to much of their time running against the other candidates instead of running for presidents, they may lack experience, knowledge, or judgment. and as nice as it would be to elect the first black or first women as president I don't feel Obama or Clinton are the right candidates and I am not willing to put my country at risk just so we can say we did. I believe there will come a time when an African American or a women will become president but we have to have the right candidates first. I think having them run this year will encourage more minority to run for president in the future and then when they do get elected we will know it will be because they are right for the job not just because it was the first time they ran and did good. Please Please take the time to research the differences between these candidates its your vote , and everyone counts. I know that if Romney doesn't get elected as president and the economy crashes, taxes get raised, another country decides to nuke us, or illegal immigrants get so out of control that they take all our jobs and we end up paying more for their health care (even though we wont beable to afford our own) I will know that I did all that i could do to try and prevent that form happening by using my one vote wisely, and those of you that didn't are going to wish you had gotten more involved then you would have seen that Romney is the only one capable of do this job.

FINALLY!! SOMEONE WITH SOME COMMON SENSE AND FORTH SIGHT INTO THE REALITY OF WHAT OUR COUNTRY IS FACING. WE NEED A PRESIDENT THAT ISN'T STUCK PAYING BACK FAVORS TO ALL OF HIS OR HER CRONIES. PRES. BUSH HAS BEEN A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT . ROMNEY SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY CANIDATE THAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE BOUGHT. HIS JOB HAS BEEN TURNING COMPANIES THAT ARE FAILING AROUND AND FIXING THEM. AND FROM WHERE I STAND U.S. COULD USE SOME FIXING. WHERE I DO RESPECT MCAINS LOYALTY IN THE SERVICE, BEING A POW DOES NOT MAKE HIM OR ANYONE A PRESIDENT. LETS MAKE HISTORY NOT BECAUSE WE ELECTED A WOMEN OR AN AFRICAN AMERICAN INTO OFFICE, BUT BECAUSE WE TURNED OUR COUNTRY AROUND AND GOT ON OUR OWN TWO FEET. AND PLEASE BY ALL MEANS STOP LETTING THE MEDIA MAKE OUR DESICIONS. STAND TALL AND VOTE BASED ON CORRECT INFORMATION, WITHOUT ANY BIASE (COLOR, SEX, OR RELIGION) WE OWE IT TO OUR FUTURE

Checked out on snopes.com, eh? Congratulations, that's a great website! I'm sure it is very legitimate. But I'm also sure of this: the first three statements, although wreaking with sarcasm, weren't seen as such to the uneducated bigot that posted the message. Try thinking before you write or say something, and consider the source of the information you are referencing; don't just repost something you received in an e-mail. Like the person who emphasized Obama's middle name in a separate post, I suggest you and anyone related to you stay home when it comes time to vote. America does not need your input. You probably voted for Bush.
