pakistan is a islamic republic and peaceful country. the government as well as the people of pakistan want peace not only in pakistan but also in all the neighbouring countries. but the political and social condition in pakistan has detoreated by the army and militants.

i condemn the recent progress of imposing the state of emergency by the dictator in the country. i think he has no self respect and self reliance. he has only desires one is to obey his lord(america) and second is to hold power in pakistan.
the americans are very very clever people as by provding some amount of dollars to our bloody political leaders, they are trying to put the people of pakistan into a hell. if american government has any sense then it should play its role to support the process of transition of powers but it only wants and supports musharraf for seeking shelter from brave and honoured people(jihadis)

apart from the act of musharraf, i would like to tell you one thing important that the world is now in great difficulties and has beome a place of hell for the people. this is due to the madness of amricans and its allies. i am really surprized that they think they can easily put the muslims under their foot but they probably donot know that the muslims are the only nation, group or power which will remain forever in the world and it is a promise of GOD that HE will not let alone the muslim not only in this world but also in hereafter, from HIS blessings and support.

so, its my heartly request to americans please donot become a wild animal. try to accept the power of the people whole of the world. donot try to creat a state of unrest in the world. please play your role honestly and try to promote justice and brotherhood.

i pay my salam to all the people .
MAY ALLAH KEEP US ALL UNDER HIS MERCY AND BLESS.

I oppose the emergency imposed by pervaiz musharraf and criticise his action against Aaj t.v and Cheif justice of Pakistan. He has no right to attack Aaj t.v building and supreme court by any international and national law.His move is a clear attack on people's voice. Now 45 t.v channels are blocked in Pakistan including your channel and we dont know whats going on in Pakistan. We have no any access to the international and national news channels since yesterday.Emergency is imposed in Pakistan just to give more illegal days to dictatorship.Due to his move and attck on the nation shows that he was never being a democratic person and now me and all the nation believes that a person in uniform can never be a democratic person. And people of Pakistan need democracy not the dictatorship and dictator like musharraf. He is continuesly attacking democracy and media in Pakistan. He wants to be in power by force not by people's wish.Being a Pakistani I am deeeply sad and concerned about this unjustifiable act.His this move will weaken the moderate forces in Pakistan and streghten the extremism.I welcome and appriciate the supreme court judges this move that just before the illegal emergency imposed by musharraf in Pakistan they gave the order against emergency but meantime army attack the supreme court and overturn judges this order by force and illegally. The people of Pakistan think that American and the other democratic countries are supporting this dictator who has lost the support and continously loosing his support by the people especially moderate forces in Pakistan.

No doubt, Musharraf asked for the trouble by rubbing the CJ of Pakistan on this 9th March. But the CJ`s retribution seemed to be worst for Pakistan. To settle score with Musharraf, the CJ started screwing the entire govt machinery. So much so that known terrorists were let off by the CJ in the name human right violations. The remaining LAL MOSQUE Mullahs who were freed by the CJ caused havoc in the country thru their sympathisers in Waziristan. There was no way to stop the CJ from settling his personal score with Musharraf except the undesirable alternative which this Emergency is.. Posted by ahmad_manzoor@hotmail.com

Musharraf is the root cause of all problems that afflict Pakistan. He will do anything to remain in power, from orchestrating terrorist attacks, to cutting deals with mullahs. He detests democratic parties, who refuse to support his illegitimate rule. The gap between the poor and rich has widened to dangerous levels. The state is seen to be violating the constitution more often than defending it. His second imposition of martial law is to prevent the legitimate Supreme Court to give a verdict in accordance with constitution. America's war on terrorism cannot succeed as long as civil democratic rule is not restored in Pakistan, the people of Pakistan want peace and "RULE OF LAW". They detest terrorism like all other freedom loving people. Chief justice Iftikhar and Barrister Aitzaz represent true moderate forces, who have credibilty. The army's professionalism has suffered with their involvement in politics and corporate interests.

Musharraf's secon d martial law will only weaken moderate forces. He has dared to remove and arrest the Chief justice Of Pakistan, something that is unimaginable in USA or UK. Yet the Americans are seen to be lukewarm in denouncing him and condemning this illegitimate act of a unpopular dictator. Musharraf has silenced his critics in the print and electronic media alongwith moderate political parties, just like the military dictators of Myanmar Burma. Chief Justice Iftikhar , his peers and Barrister Aitzaz represent the voice of people and their conscience. Musharraf is the cause of all problems and not the solution. The cure is more democracy and not martial law. It is during his 8 year of misrule, that Pakistan has seen rise of religous parties, in state engineered elections held in 2002. Majority of people of pakistan are moderate and want to see democratic self rule instead of martial law. The USA is viewed rightly or wrongly as being supportive of military rule. This perception is not good for America or Pakistan. People want peace, prosperity and desire to rid the state of corrupt dictators, who would go to any extent to prolong their unwanted tenures, like the Musharraf is doing.

This is Martial Law, because emergency is promulgated by the Prime Minister, not the Army chief. The constitution has been suspended.
unfortunately, crack down has been initiated against judiciary, media, lawers, political workers and civil society organizations instead of extremist forces. Reports have arrived that 70 human rights activists have been arrested in Lahore from HRCP Office. These people have been taken to Model town police station and are being asked to sign a statement that they will not take part in any activities against the state/ govt. This crackdown agaisnt civil society organization is higly regettable.
The emergency has been imposed to curb extremism, but uptill now no action has been initiated against them. This is very interesting that about 300 security personnel have been just released by the terrorist in triabla areas and about 48 security personnel were released just before the emergency. No action has been initiated against the administration of red mosque and other organizations operating freely in Pakistan. Why action has not been taken against these people by the agencies? The action against extremism need sincere effort. Instead of wasting energies on civil society organization, they should focus on terrorists.
