    To Alex : Sorry, I won't take responsibility for the white people 3-400 years ago - I wasn't alive then and neither were you. You didn't suffer as a slave and I wasn't a slave owner. If your life is not a happy productive one, you and the rest of the black community that complains and uses slavery as an excuse, needs to start taking responsibility for yourselves and make your life better. Even Bill Cosby agrees with that! I am tired of having to hear how the white race makes the black race suffer. How ridiculous is that? My children will have to pay for their college education all by themselves just like I had to while a child who is black will go at a reduced rate or no cost because of the color of their skin. Oh, and by the way, the caucasions don't have their own college fund, unlike the black community, because THAT would be racist. About time things started getting fair for ALL of our kids. Let's focus on the important things, not what one person said and turn it into something ridiculous!

      Amen!! Its about time for white people to start standing up for themselves and stop letting "black america" make us feel like we owe them something. By the way...we are paying your way through life because our tax money is providing the welfare checks and the college funds for your families. And the nerve to still be hollering for your "reperations"! White people only owe it to themselves to be proud of their race and the fact that they are hard-working citizens making the future for their own families better because of that. By the way...I am Irish and very proud of it... my people were ridiculed and still have our sterotypes...but thats life....get over yourselves black people!!!!

    People who use the N-word inappropriately like "DOG" Chapman are IGNORANT. It is NOT about African Americans always wanting something to "gripe" about...ITs about RESPECT.
    If you don't know the culture of a people, you can't delight in it. If you don't have respect for that culture, no you can't call someone the N-Word, just because you hear someone else
    saying it. RACISM is being exposed in all arenas. There are plenty of racist in the world who use the N-word maliciously, and regardless, if this is the case then I think African Americans should have the right to "gripe"...I think if people use the word knowing that it is inappropriate then they should be held accountable.

    Get real people. Todays white people had nothing to do with slavery or seggragation. Every educated person has forgiven German, Italian, or Japanese soldiers for fighting for the axis during WWII. We've forgiven Soviet leaders. We've forgiven the British and are past enemies. We've forgiven people who were our enemies 15 years and yet black people still hold a grudge against white people for something that SOME of the white people OF THAT TIME PEROID did OVER 120 YEARS AGO.

    I don't think that anyone should be able to use that word. Not even black people. That was a word that was used a very long time ago and I think that it should be put into the past. there is no sense in making a big deal now, but in the future, there should be no use of the word unless it is in a historically correct movie or biography.

    Like we didn't already know that Dog uses the Nword - c'mon people, get real. Two separate issues 1. Dog is trailer trash / mullet trash / cracker trash and Nword is probably everyday conversation - where's the surprise. 2. "Black America" is looking for yet another redirect of attention away from general disappointing performance. BTW - why is it OK to call someone cracker but N is off limits?

    I totally agree with ksgirl. If the Dog's son can say it now then for sure he said it before. And he'll keep saying it. Why would you do that to someone you love? If your son is happy Dog then let him be happy. Your happy so why cant anyone else be. Dog also stated that he is not a racist but to use the word 6 or more times I think is a little much. But I dont think that the Dog or any of his family is racist. I have watched his shows for a while, well, a long time now and I never heard anything racist against anyone. I love the Dog and I think that using the N word doesnt always apply to blacks. I hear white people calling white people n-----. It doesn't nessasarily means their being racist.

    I was once a fan of "Dog". However, after hearing his repeated use of the "N" word, I will no longer support his show or the network that airs it if he isn't taken off the air. If he didn't feel negatively towards Black people, than the conversation between him and his son would have never taken place. His fear of using the "N" word in the presence of his son's girlfriend and losing everything that he had worked so hard to attain, has come to fruition. He didn't call her the "N" word but he disrespected his son as well as the young lady by referring to Black people with such a derogatory word. Why does he feel that it is o.k. for him and his staff to refer to Black people in such a derogatory manner as long as they asren't present?

    No Dog's son should not of publicized the telephone conversation but the N word should of never came out of his mouth. Only makes me to believe that this wasn't his first time in using the word and the son knew it so to get back at dad he recorded it. Dog also stated that he is not a racist but to use the word 6 or more times out of anger that to me is a racist. They say when you say things out of anger is when your true colors shine.

Not only that but you wouldnt believe the number of dirty looks I as a white person get for going into so called "black" stores. I do not view these places as stores meant for a certain race... the black people do. But for me to say that's racist is just absurd right?? please. If white people tried to have their own stores, tv shows and own MONTHS to appreciate white people... how well would that go over?

      Harrison - You also the one on Level Up? Humanity defines itself by conflict. In the mind of people there has to be someone to measure themselves too. In the Cold War, Us vs. Soviets.     I think that no matter what we do to expose racism or any other socially offensive attitude, there will always be someone that harbors secret ahtred towards something or someone. The best thing we can do is be responsible for our own actions. No matter who taped the conversation, no matter who sold who out,
    Dawg is responsible for his own actions. Apparently he has a preconcieved idea that dating or having a "n----" in your family taints it in some way. Wow. It may have been a priate conversation but those are feelings that apparently he and his family share. That means that is something that is practiced, which means that is something that is preached. To the person in Hawaii, well I guess racism is okay if you catch bad guys for a living. But do you think that would cloud your judgment in some way? If we keep this line of thought then we should pardon all those that may committ rape, nolestation, murder, and any other crime if they have done some good for society. I guess keeping them around regardless of their heinous actions is better for society. Anyway..I agree with the article, apparently exposing second rate tv stars and having the idea that using the word will somehow diminish its power is not having the effect they would like. Be responsible for yourself, check your own morales, help change things worth changing, and try not to live up to the sterotypes people have set before you.

    I'm concerned with the phone call being recording and then published... Where's our privacy?? Private conversations with friends or family are just that..PRIVATE.. I happen to like Dog's show and think he is a regular guy trying to turn around his previous mistakes and just make a life for his family.

    I heard Mr. Chapman's comments over the radio and I genuinely think he regrets that phone conversation. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a decent man. Still, under all of his benevolence that he portrays on TV, I think he does have some issues with black people. Furthermore, I can guarantee if he knew of or were friends with any that he would never use that language.

    Mr. Chapman it's the 21st century, most of us are educated (I'm assuming you are not). GROW UP!!!
